  3. Feck I remember what happed to the 350 , it went into a garden repair hire place and guess what the thing came out sized. Should of wrapped it round the hunts head who tried to fix it .
  4. I'm just on about factory standard , I thought the 346 screamed its knackers off but was gutless in proper wood , 351 /353 was had more grunt or torque, And the 350 was a cross between the both i found it could carry upto a 20" bar and still work effectively ..... gawd I miss that saw
  5. Would all Doosan have the controls on the feet? I’ve seen a couple of sany sy18 for similar price, which seem to have a regular dipper as standard-would they have joystick controls for the grab and rotator?
  6. Maybe , the 357xp was tuned up wrong or on the wrong size sprocket, bar, chain configuration.. was the bosses saw, bulky and slow I thought. Just maybe I was lucky with my 350 and some of them are like brummie cars above .
  7. Today
  8. Good Morning Back from Florence / Arezzo. With help from Italian consulate and the wonderful people at the war graves commission my sister and I were able to put my mums ashes on her dad's war grave. An emotional few days punctuated by lovely food, great people and the odd Grappa. Have a great weekend.
  9. So @eggsarascal its been 4 weeks since your story about your friends at Cleethorpes and we've waited patiently for media stories to come out about the bus loads of immigrants but there has been nothing. I think that an explanation is needed or people can think the worst about you.
  10. Be interested to hear. I idly assume stalk up is better as that's how they hang on the tree? But no idea if that's actually true!
  11. So why ask? You were trying to Walt me, I've given you enough there I think.
  12. It's quicker to use the pennant numbers but just for the pedant, Glasgow, Battleaxe, Alacrity and Arrow, did you check any of these out?
  13. Charlie, find a pub and have a beer! Hwad a bit thick this morning, couple of pints in the Brewshed followed by some wine to celebrate the start of the weekend, plus sold the car etc! Standard jobs and tip run today etc. Planning a hit if a beery rugby thing fir next Friday too! Getting on with life! Enjoy your life, work hard and play harder! But be safe! Suite, Car, Err, loin.
  14. Morning all, Going to be pretty wet today. Family trip to go paddle boarding, but I’ll stay in the cafe due to recent ear infection. Cloud with silver lining then. Looking good weather wise next week.

  20. Morning campers . Happy Saturday ! 🙂
  21. I did about 3300 km on the old girl this summer. One big trip with two mates when I carried all the luggage on the old girl. One breakdown when the neutral switch gave up the Ghost but that only took 15min to sort out.

  23. I've no idea, but if iirc it sold for 40K ish 35 years ago.. it was absolutely beautiful and great to ride. Really only worked on 2 Vinnies as in building the engines, that and a Comet. The bottom ends were probably the most beefy, bullet proof but simple that I ever saw.... although a lot of the gubbins was on the outside which I didn't really mind as it was accessible so serviceable. I also thought similar about the only Jota that I had in bits { but to a lesser extent } the quality of the engineering was cheaper as what went with the era, but still muckle compared to the 70's / 80's British equivalent... imo of course.... which I suppose would have been a delicate Norman Hyde Trident.
  24. Yeah it will do the job. Much more enjoyable and less graft than a day on the hobby mill.
  25. I wonder what the Egli would be worth today?
  26. Yesterday
  27. I did that in my teens, the 2T was a big performance boost but scary with bantam brakes.. First bikes at 14, Two 1949 C11g's for £6 10 shillings, a fortune back then😁 built one out of the two and used it to go to school well before being legal, parents didn't know and nobody ever asked. Best bike of that era was a 1976 Rickman chassis kit with a tuned t140v engine. Most fun 81' 440 Maico enduro. Probably the best / most memorable bike I rebuilt was an Egli Vincent with a Black Shadow engine 👍👍 Seems like someone else's life now, Cheers.
