Thats just alu smeared on the bore. Suggest opening up for a look, its likely fixable without spending any cash. See my auger here, scroll down for the pic before repair. I have since put a new cyl on it, but couldnt be bothered to finish reassembly - some parts were not left where I thought they were...

😂😂😂😂🥰 you sad maybe. You obviously enjoy interacting with those whose views closely align with yours, mind you how do you reconcile yourself to “ Steven’s” absolute refusal to acknowledge or ever answer a single question. Thing is 42 go right back to the Covid thread and see how the 4 of you went at it, when all else failed you just made up shite and lied. Bully 😂😂😂 we are all grown men on here ffs grow a pair and either walk on by or hit the ignore button. Your Steven never misses a chance 42, just like tonight and the possible demise of the last helicopter manufacturer in the UK post. That’s fine by me you won’t find me whinging about it. Like I’ve said before learn some self control lad.

This is my current favourite. It's been in daily use since the 2024 APF. Made of Alder I think. Very hard wearing. If Steven were removed it would make very little difference. You'd just find someone else to insult, abuse and try to bully on a daily basis. What's the tally of your so called "adversaries" now, past and present? 15, 20?

Hi guys trawled through some of the older threads on here but some are a good few years old now, so thought I'd start a freshie. Been asked to have my own public liability subbing out to quite a large firm. Fine no problems i can get some, just think its a bit odd since I'm a 'labour only subcontractor' providing my own saws and climbing gear like most subbys do. There was some mention of IR35 reg's so guessing they're covering their backs in case they get investigated for disguised employment (seems a bit extreme since I'm providing tools, not wearing uniform etc) just wanting to know if anyone has come across this before and if some insurance providers require subbys to have their own? I'm working else where and I'm covered under their insurance. thanks

So , it was quite entertaining , especially as we scored first ! but the highlight for me was their £62 million quid striker missing a penalty . When I say missed I mean several feet wide of the goal . it was 2--1 to them at half time and I thought we are still in it . In the second half they dropped to the ground for the slightest breath on them to get a free kick . They did this 3 times in a row each time working their way up the pitch to end up scoring . I would say for a top ( the top currently ) premiership club they don't score much from open play . Corners is a different matter . They have that sorted . Also most of them are a couple of feet taller than most of us . The ref was a twat . And thats all I have to say about that .

We will see.

The vertical scores look pretty deep, usually a sign of seizure but looks like the machine may have run on so possible that the ring didn't get held in the groove and continued to run. Not easy to tell to much more without removing the cylinder though. If the damage is also on the inlet side, it will be ingress of dirt or carbon damage.

@sime42 for romanian recipes... I'm too lazy. Can't help you... I have to talk to some girls. I barely eat anyway. They like me fit 😁🙄 It's hard to do 55 pushups after a good meal. Or the rest of the training... After food must come rest and sleep. 😎

No. Wrong answer. Read this question.

Just a note that not all small felling courses are the same. Some places will have good woodlands and trees to fell. Also some courses are 3 days some are 4. Then an extra day for assessment. Some go for 4 candidates others cap it at 3. Do your research to make sure you get what you want/need.
-
You may suggest that, yes. Sounds good. With sour cream? Any more Romanian recipes?

@Mesterh irelevant. true ,he has a kid that's "unsure" of his sexuality but please... Still can buy us all for peanuts money. Also this guy said we are working for nothing, retirement pension will not matter in 20 years! I suspected this about 10 years ago because of a pilot program in Finland ,for a fixed income that actually ended well. World's richest man Elon Musk drops bombshell on future finances, says saving for retirement 'won't matter' in the next 20 years World's richest man Elon Musk drops bombshell on future finances, says saving for retirement 'won't matter' in the next 20 years. Here's why M.ECONOMICTIMES.COM Elon Musk has made a shocking prediction about future finances and said that saving for retirement 'won't matter' in the next 20...

I have the 3m pro. Its great and it's the only one I have. Sometimes too long but if I had a choice of an 3m and a 2.4 I'd take the 3m saves a lot of hassle. In an ideal world id have a 1.8m, 3m and 4.6m one.

2 stroke engines need synthetic oil in order to last decent hours. even so ,if foreign objects, wood chips, etc get passed the air filter the cylinder+piston might get scored. Resulting in compresion lost and...time for new cylinder/piston +rings... Use Motul 800 oil in a new chainsaw or 2 stroke engine in the recommended dosage!

I've not found that, I always have mine right next to the hedge, last job it was sort of in the hedge and a bit awkward to get through the leylandii to the next step but fine once I got past it. You can also straddle the ladder which is exceptionally stable, an A frame lets you move and lean a lot more before it wants go topple over? Anyway I'd never get a 10' henchman on the rack. Worked with a lot of people and I'm yet to see any out in the wild. Anyone using them in the South East? It would be interesting to try them but I think it would only be once! There are shorter variations of my ladder under different brands and some have adjustable feet. When I get to it, perhaps in spring, I will make up adjustable feet that slot into it on one side.
-
So that's the piston but no rings showing? If that's the actual cylinder bore the scoring looks bad, more akin to having sucked something hard in

"It's not just me is it?, It can't be"

If you do decide to look at alternatives Mark I'm only 5'8" but still a hench man with three legs, pretty confident I could get you up! Seriously, we've the 10' ones at work, I find them easier than standard ladders to move and they do the job well, still tend to have someone footing them in use though.

Had not considered that.

May I suggest pork in white wine, fresh garlic in a hot oven. served with red wine and fresh hot bread baked in a wood stove 🥳

They are husky 300amp (or whatever) batteries, the big ones. I am not complaining, I’m saying this is not a replacement for a petrol 550.
