Just dropped my 2nd truck off for them to convert, highly recommended and not too far for you compared to a lot of firms. They’re also 10 mins from a train station, easy return journey and pick up. Don't be fooled by prices thrown about online/facebook either, half the time it’s false economy as they use cheap thin metal for the subframe, cheap hydraulics, lots of “extras” etc.

Busted! Cheers mate. Enjoy your sheep’s face.

Morning gents, a fine crisp weekend here, blue sky and the feeling of winter. I got a good nights sleep last night, breakfast and a walk up the river with the dog. Now back to wrap my boys presents and maybe even string some lights up on the front of the house.

I have used one of these in the past.....if I am replacing the old bearings with new. No need for heating/cooling, and the taper of the tool gentle eases the bearing from the crank. Just grease the side touching the crank weights to avoid any damage, but it really doesnt need it. https://www.redboxtools.com/product/draper-14159-fork-type-ball-joint-separator-19mm/ Oh...and dirko goes everywhere...particularly your fingers, which then get spread everywhere you touch on the engine and it's bastard stuff to remove from the bits you don't want it on. wd-40 is your friend when it comes to wiping it off.

Goat willows do sometimes grow some surprisingly large burrs -like this small one. Keep an eye on it for a couple of years, if you know any wood turners/carvers, they love them !

800 a month seems like a lot of moolah, for France. Thats a mortgage on a small house.

Stuart, here's my thoughts: my own (UK experience only) is that any treework/forestry businesses that are unattached to a domestic residence, consistently tend to attract local unwanted night time 'visitors'.. regardless if they are alarmed. A second visit then follows, within 12 months, and so on. This can be surprisingly stressful and time consuming. Having a house (or occupied caravan/campervan by the work building) generally reduced those 'visitors' by 80-90+% Last negative: UK commercial rental contracts are like the Wild West, from a Tennant perspective 😳 Maybe things are different in France, tho ? So, I'd make an uneducated guess, that the welcome extra passing trade and enhanced publicity, from a busy location would outweigh the 'security issues/losses/ hassle ' ? -why not give it a try, with an 18 month 'get-out early' clause in your contract terms ?
