  1. Past hour
  2. Some people will leave comment for laugh, and i am fine with that. Now, i am serious, has anyone thought about 3 or 4 saw plan battery only. It can include cordless pruner. I know it won't apply for very thick cutting, or for someone doing 8+ hours days. But for the rest of us .... 4 saw plan: stihl gta 26 Echo dcs 310 makita duc 254 makita duc 355 + battery pole saw
  3. Please don't use the word 'strimmer' that is a brand name of Black & Decker...a bastardization of the words 'grass' and 'trimmer' Sorry, but a pet hate of mine......using the word strimmer is like using the word hoover to mean a vacuum cleaner.
  4. Today
  5. I love watching the birds of prey when mulching scrub - they appear from everywhere!
  6. I fancy that for Christmas! Hours of fun! ’Oh no, not another cock and balls!’
  7. 20p a pint for Hooky when I first drank
  8. Yes but needs grass that has been managed short.
  9. I remember the late naughties when spoons were doing recession busters and it was 99p a pint, ruddles county was order of the day for my self. Haven't been in there for a 5 years or so, literally stank of shite when I last went in, I thought this is an absolute dive so haven't been back, if me mates are heading that way after cycling I'll just go home instead! Minehead btw incase you want to avoid it.
  10. Vortex strimmer cord is the stuff to use, lovely finish on short grass. Practice like other's have said. Flymo maybe quicker.
  11. It has its positives for sure, now even Billy-no-mates can play Pictionary. Sadly, this isn't fake. Take some time to think about it.

    Beer prices?

Where they don't give you a full pint, always ask them to top it up to the line or brim, those small amounts over 800 pubs = big profits

    Beer prices?

Topical thread. Went out for a mates birthday last night. Didn’t join the table to eat (thankfully). so ordered a round. One pint of London pride, large glass of red wine and an alcohol free beer. 21 ****************ing quid.
  15. Well I doubt it’s going to heal itself.
  16. 32 times artificial intelligence got it catastrophically wrong | Live Science WWW.LIVESCIENCE.COM From chatbots giving truly terrible medical advice to facial recognition software... fecking bring it on.

    Sicklesmere Cider

Prior arrangement isn't necessary, but if you let us know we can arrange for payment to be hidden somewhere. Ring when you arrive for the gate code and cash location. When you come through the gate, look to your right, along the hedge. There is a small pile of woodchip. Please deliver here, thanks.
  18. Use one of the finer filament cords with sharp edges, star/square profile rather than round, creates a cleaner finish. I would be going down the professional battery trimmer route for cutting neat grass on slopes.
  19. Bocca

    Beer prices?

Because they have 800 venues and a huge distribution network. Therefore they can order kegs in huge volumes and be guaranteed to shift them, thus they get them at massively discounted rates. your local village pub orders one barrel a week through a distributor aka a middleman, so gets charged their cut aswell. If it’s not through a distributor they get tied into a contract with one supplier, who might give them £10k cash upfront and some branded furniture. But then they can only order from them, at inflated prices. £5/6 a pint once they’ve bought the barrel and paid someone to pour it, is them making 10/20p per pint profit if their lucky.

  24. Thanks for sharing that. I’ve looked at a few of those SZ130 chippers and always wondered how they’d hold up long term. The tracks and self-propel feature sound nice for rough ground, but yeah, the reliability can be hit or miss. Curious to see how it performs after a few months of real use.
