  3. Happy Birthday Bob, loving the tablets, need some for me! In Ayrshire and doing my thing after dropping a Jaguar off with someone. These Ufkes do impress.... Tay, Cap, Ideas.
  4. I know, but yesterday was quite unusual. People just kept rocking up. It's not a big site. I'm too used to working on my own, at my speed I suppose. Happy to share, but this was beyond that. Uncomfortable.
  5. Never say never Bob ! πŸ˜€
  6. Good Morning Hoping for a quiet day. Yesterday was bonkers. Have a good one..
  7. There are hundreds of examples out there that show many from that religion have no interest in coexisting peacefully or integrating at all. I’m sure the normal dumb arse leftard suspects will disagree. 8. Morning all . Very mild . No coat needed walking the dog this morning .

  10. Morning all. Spending this morning on a laptop doing compliance stuff, can't avoid it any longer unfortunately, the accreditation process is looming. Once I've waded through that it's forwarding timber on the clearance site to finish the day. Have a good one folks.

  14. Thanks both Spud and Pleasant for the info. The low is fine, it's just the H is giving me grief. Spud, what rpm do you tach them too? It's either rev limiting quite low or 4 stroking at quite a low rpm, I've tried to find the sweet spot between 4 stroking and the rev limit but can't quite get it. I'll try to set it cutting to see if I can feel it then, but it's not like a chainsaw! Re ADW, I haven't really seen much politics on here, it is a huge loss if experienced people of which there are fewer and fewer left, leave this site especially as it caters for mainly UK users, which as we know has it's own type of saw usage. I for sure will miss his invaluable knowledge. I just ignore the politics and just take on board the info that is posted here. I'm sure most people find this part of all forums quite tedious but it seems to be part and parcel of all forms of media these days, I stay away from social media as a person of a advanced years!! I can do without all that sh1t!! I would like to take the opportunity to thank all OP's who contribute to a genuine, interesting, informative site and as a person who has limited arb experience, but has a big interest in working on and rebuilding saws for my own use and for friends and neighbours. As a retired engineer it gives me an interest and a hobby with a relatively low cost, ( probably have 60 saws) it keeps the grey matter working.
  15. Wordle 1,710 2/6 ⬜🟩⬜🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Mine was pure luck, especially since I was going for a different word the second time and spelt it wrong!
  16. Thanks for your concern. It was me, but thanks to a Saint Bernard and its welcome barrel of brandy I made it out.
  17. Photo evidence of him in possession of grey Y fronts . That's a crime for sure .

    Jokes???

  19. I assume he didn’t pursue dog training as a vocation because that sounds pretty confusing. On flitting between communication styles, me and a mate took Sailor and mum’s (considerably less biddable) shepherd, Mecho (Misha - I don’t know - some Russian bullshit) out the other day. Mecho picked up a limp on a track by a flailed hedge. Obviously a thorn. Rolled him over. Checked his front paws. Moderate annoyance. Grabbed a back one and he bared his teeth at me. I’m not fuccing having that so I gave him a mixed tirade of growling, barking and some highly professional dog training phrases along the lines of, YOUFUCCINGSHOWMETHATLIPCUNT! Just then, a jogger passed us, wearing a vest for a race that I know up north. A nice coincidence. Said hello and remarked on the smallness of the world. He sped up! Rude. Anyway. Apparently snapping between tones so readily, β€œmakes you look like a psycho.” Right o. I’ll stay in character as a savage so he doesn’t think I’m odd then shall I.
  20. Wordle 1,710 5/6 🟩⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩⬜⬜🟩⬜ 🟩⬜🟩🟩🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  21. I first came aware of extreme Tourette’s when me and all my mates watched Johns Not Mad, we were all stoned (as usual) and its all we could talk about for weeks. I have had friends with nervous tics, but nothing like that. Its a hell of a thing.
  22. The carbs are different between the Partner K750 & Husqvarna K750. Not suggesting the settings are different, but they may be. The Partner K750 ceased production in 2006, when it then became the Husqvarna K750. the carbs for the Partner version are now obsolete, whereby the Husqvarna ones are still available from Husky. Both Zama models, but are different part numbers.
  23. ADW is fine but like many, got fed up with the "political discussions" on the site that have taken over from what was a decent arborist site with decent content where guys like us can sort out the technical issues that we deal with on a daily basis but there you go. On the K750....try 1-1.5 turns on each L&H screw, I usually tune the L by ear and the H using a tach but each man to his own.
  24. The subject of that film JD is local to me, decent guy from what I know. Can remember as a youngster being quite impressed seeing him up the high street shouting all sorts at the police with no repurcussion. Biggest laugh was his black lab, one day it had darted over the other side of the road and he was shouting it back nicely "here boy, good lad, come here boy...". The dog would start going towards him, tail wagging, then halfway over he'd erupt spitting and shouting "the dug's a c***, f the dug, f'in dug, get tae f" and it'd turn back to the other pavement. Then he'd go nice again, the dog started towards him and he'd erupt again. Did feel sorry for them both but it was hilarious to watch.
  25. That's a good idea. The Arb Association run courses on BS5837, you might want to look into that at some point.
  26. Good suggestion! I was surprised that it didn't give setting in the service manual, but still! As you say it's basically a Partner, even says so on the saw, Husqvarna Partner K750. I'll check it out, thanks for the heads up! It's a shame if the site loses adw, always a helpful and knowledgeable guy!
