  2. ha you definately own one! door panels fell off in about a month! ad blue regen is on more that it is off! sitting there for 15 minutes every time idling away, stinking out the neighbourhood. No way thats better for the environment! tow hook is low, use to lift the chipper off by hand, this one no way will hurt your back in no time if tried. gear selection, got to be the worse i think ive ever encountered, EVER! had better gear selection on my old car when the clutch had worn out and needed replacing. all for £50K new. but yes ad blue is the biggest load of crap ever invented. might have to look at the ad blue delete. I heard any of these trucks that go abroad to say the middle east, first thing they do is rip it off as its so problematic
  3. HSBC. Can't help feeling that I should have a claim against them for mis-selling, but have never spoken to anyone who says it's their department. Funny that. 🤔
  4. £250 Ad blue delete at a good remapping place, should be the first thing anyone does on anything equipped with that crap, mot’s no problem. The rest I’ve no idea about.

  7. Mike is more wood working and milling iirc, so we rarely cross threads.
  8. I think there's a declining number of us here who know what your talking about. - From my earliest days of tv watching where tvs were rented and we couldn't afford a colour one, so black and white only, and imagining what colour things were supposed to be
  9. I currently use a 2011 Husqvarna 235.., it will only be used for just limbing upto a 4" saplings..
  10. I have never seen one but because it is a boxer engine, each piston moves out at the same time, it should be very well balanced and low vibration. Because the crankcase is shared between each cylinder and the crankcase pressure (as each piston is on the power stroke) still acts as a scavenge pump the saw is not piston ported. So the air intake past the single carburetor is controlled by a reed valve on the crankcase.
  11. So what's next on the menu then?
  12. apparently if you watched her cooking programme according to the ever suffering husband,, "all your doughnuts will look like fanny's"
  13. Don’t even get me started on fanny.
  14. What we really need to know is whether the two Dempseys are related! This could get very confusing...Mick Dempsey and Mike Dempsey! How have I never noticed that before? maybe you don't post on the same threads generally?
  15. I've never tried to prove this, but I assume it was basically a marketing ploy by the original sawmills and timber dealers in America. They could see that their cypresses had great properties and were in some respects similar to the highly valued true cedars so they borrowed the name. Just like there are now many trees whose timber is sold as mahogany. I sell loads of spruce as Welsh Oak - works a treat! Oh no; maybe I just dreamed that...

  17. For those that fix their own punctures in the field, a pair of ratchet bead spreaders. Pleasantly surprised. Link Bob
  18. Beechwood are after climbers. Coventry based.
  19. Last shoot of the season. Not too soon. It’s the curate’s egg. Or similar to the adage about the happiest days in boat owners’ lives. Second happiest when they buy it and happiest when they sell it. Before long I’ll be looking forward to it again. The human condition eh.

  22. Thanks @Mick Jones yes well it seems that it is not out of the realms of possibilities that the push rods can bend with out something being terminally wrong. Well it was my wife who was tractoring prior to it breaking god knows what she was about, well mucking out without the rear weigh on- makes it a hard job with out the weight as there is already too much weight on the front end.

  24. Good Morning Last of the 5 loads of Oak to collect today. Then starting the cut, split, stack marathon. See you some time late Feb. Have a good un. Play up Pompey!
  25. I'm pretty sure this is a known problem. What I did with mine was to buy an extra fibre washer and fit two washers at a time for a snugger fit. Seems to work OK that way.
