  1. Thanks, interesting post. It does seem I'm in the minority (of one!) on this. Never mind, I've often been hard of thinking when it comes to dogs.
  2. I read about half of them and still none the wiser! Out of interest, would you say bellend or good egg?

  4. Yes that's right, Council tree officer.
  5. I get the feeling KJmbe is reading the 90pages right now.
  6. You could ask your Local Authority Tree Officer to recommend someone
  7. Not sure what AARSE is but could you summarise the opinion on there please
  8. I still think the slots available, timings etc are not his responsibility. He was dealing with the reason for him actually being there.
  9. I agree Andy, it would be ridiculous if he'd done that. But I don't believe he has any responsibility for human lives, that responsibility lies firmly with the Government in my eyes.
  10. Good egg. No problem with him being direct with some twat from government. Considering how the government treat people anyway he's not really out of order, he just said he'd destroy them on social media after all!
  11. Thanks spud, I'll investigate that a bit more thoroughly
  12. Think I'd rather try replacing the spring before using steps! It's not a big problem really, just becoming annoying having to reset the angle so often.
  13. And what's with the 3 x 40min toilet breaks, Is it actually when the prayer mat comes out?
  14. If I understand your post correctly, it makes me wonder if you hit metal. It was cutting well from new, and after the first sharpen. When you noticed it struggling you found bar damage which you sorted but didn't sharpen chain again and got no improvement in performance. It could be that you've cut a foreign object.
  15. I have a Stihl HL 94C hedgecutter that seems to adjust the angle of the head itself when I'm cutting the top of a hedge. There is no apparent wear on the pin, or in the holes the pin seats into and the spring handle appears to be in the correct position every time it returns. I suspect it's the handle catching on a stiff branch that disengages the pin allowing the head to adjust itself but wondered if I may need to replace a part. Has anyone else had this issue?
  16. Like the ad too. There will be people living somewhere less desirable that's costing them a lot more to have.

  18. The risk now is a chorus of "fell and replant with something suitable" may follow...
  19. You'd probably be retired long before I get round to it but yes, it had crossed my mind you're not that far away
  20. Your demo logs look a snug fit Andy, very nice. Makes me think I really want to build a cabin! Look forward to seeing what you get up to with the new toys.

    Chain oil

I took it to mean Oil Seed Rape?
  22. You could have one of those toilet seats that go on a bucket £20, and a pop up beach tent £15 in the truck. Call it The Non-gendered Popaloo and boast about it in your employment ad's
  23. Met a young raven today, the mascot of a jousting/stunt horse riding team doing an excellent display at Sir Walter Scott's birthday party. The 'wench' whose arm he was sitting on said he's 6month old and has a lot of growing to do, quite intimidating.
  24. Watched a Guy Martin programme about electric cars recently, he visited a Battery Destruction Test site. The battery fires are an exothermic reaction (think that's the word for it) and generate their own heat chemically so even when they've apparently been extinguished will just start burning again. Fire service in Germany are testing a watertight container which they crane the whole car into then submerge in water to transport them safely. Guy Martin: The World's Fastest Electric Car? WWW.CHANNEL4.COM Guy explores the world of electric vehicles. Are they the future...
  25. Yes it's Keith. Nice guy, can certainly run his woodmizer effectively! Do you know him?
