  1. Morning. Wet wet wet here this morning with an amber flood warning in place, Spud's deluge has arrived with us. Only be venturing out to walk the dog though so let it rain!
  2. Very nice J, the one with the watery sun 👍
  3. Morning all. Not back at work until Tuesday now so it's the weekend for me already! I'll finish strimming the riverbank this afternoon and Monday but that's more mindfulness retreat than work. Otherwise looking forward to a rugby-fest on Saturday with three home nations matches to watch.
  4. Now that's all sorted out can we just spare a thought for the humble compressor. Just a few seconds with an air hose would make all the difference!
  5. You'll only make it wetter!
  6. Have you looked on the freelancer listing for anyone local? https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  7. Morning. Bob, that's a better excuse than 'the gamekeeper got his saw pinched'.
  8. Sorry Steven, need to pull you up on that. You've not taken into consideration that it's the only city up there, so all the rats in the very north have to live there, not a true representation. And Agnus knows all about how clean the close is in Dundee because her cousin Dot lives there and they talk every Tuesday afternoon on the phone. #factchecker
  9. Morning, bit earlier up today but not bushy tailed, back in at work for a road job.
  10. Think it'd want a spacer if used with rope.

Best of luck, it's a difficult market at the moment.

I don't have a Henry but these are exactly the same reasons I like my cleaning lady...
  13. Love that Stephen, even standing still he looks like he's moving at full tilt!
  14. Stay home spud, there'll be plenty more opportunities to work in the wet.
  15. That's madness, I'd be giving it away at that price! As my only valued customer though, I'll keep.your account open in case your new provider goes home at short notice. Have a good day!
  16. Well I never. You had to get up early, wet the bed didn't you! Morning all...
  17. Yes, easily, as long as you're not trying to fell it surreptitiously in the night during a storm to cover the fact you're felling it!
  18. Morning all from a very calm Borders. Bit of a nothing weekend for me, mainly lying down! Got the rugby to look forward to at least. Have a good one.
  19. Have to say the most unbelievable thing about this story so far is that there's CSI looking at a felled tree. All these folk that have saws and chippers nicked and get nothing more than a crime number for insurance must be wondering...
  20. That nptc assessor looks serious
  21. Morning all. Looks to be nice apart from a gusty wind, sun is out.
  22. Found what I was reading I think, they call it Translocation. Move some soil and a bit of wood to another place and apparently you've moved the ancient woodland. HS2: Moving ancient woodland habitat for rail line flawed, ecologists say WWW.BBC.CO.UK Soil is being moved to new sites but ecologists question whether the process is effective.
  23. I'm sure I heard somewhere they justified it because they'd moved some soil (carrying the essence of an ancient woodland) to a copse somewhere out the way which meant it was basically an ancient woodland now.
  24. If you've not seen it Tom, you can add a listing to the map too. https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  25. Poor John, taking the butt of the joke because he was the only one working this afternoon!
