  1. Love that Stephen, even standing still he looks like he's moving at full tilt!
  2. Stay home spud, there'll be plenty more opportunities to work in the wet.
  3. That's madness, I'd be giving it away at that price! As my only valued customer though, I'll keep.your account open in case your new provider goes home at short notice. Have a good day!
  4. Well I never. You had to get up early, wet the bed didn't you! Morning all...
  5. Yes, easily, as long as you're not trying to fell it surreptitiously in the night during a storm to cover the fact you're felling it!
  6. Morning all from a very calm Borders. Bit of a nothing weekend for me, mainly lying down! Got the rugby to look forward to at least. Have a good one.
  7. Have to say the most unbelievable thing about this story so far is that there's CSI looking at a felled tree. All these folk that have saws and chippers nicked and get nothing more than a crime number for insurance must be wondering...
  8. That nptc assessor looks serious
  9. Morning all. Looks to be nice apart from a gusty wind, sun is out.
  10. Found what I was reading I think, they call it Translocation. Move some soil and a bit of wood to another place and apparently you've moved the ancient woodland. HS2: Moving ancient woodland habitat for rail line flawed, ecologists say WWW.BBC.CO.UK Soil is being moved to new sites but ecologists question whether the process is effective.
  11. I'm sure I heard somewhere they justified it because they'd moved some soil (carrying the essence of an ancient woodland) to a copse somewhere out the way which meant it was basically an ancient woodland now.
  12. If you've not seen it Tom, you can add a listing to the map too. https://arbtalk.co.uk/find-a-freelancer/
  13. Poor John, taking the butt of the joke because he was the only one working this afternoon!
  14. Come on Rich, you know as well as anyone it's in his pockets, pants, boots, wallet, truck and kitchen. Probably one tiny bit in his left eye too.
  15. Literally everyone John!
  16. Hope it's left there symbolically
  17. That one certainly hasn't been pruned to the 3998 recommendation
  18. He might be young but he knows how to use it
  19. Usually that points to them wanting a tabletop on it
  20. More concerning than the park authority comments is the talking heads on telly that keep saying it would take hours to cut down with a chainsaw!
  21. Deliberately felled, no doubt about that, can't imagine why.
  22. Morning. Sir, Blackbriar was definitely here early today. I saw him in the corridor earlier but his dog likes to fetch bottles and it followed him in and took his bottle and took it home again so he went to get it back but he's definitely here Sir, or not far away. His satchel is on his peg if you don't believe me.
  23. Really sorry, I tried all morning to put the transaction through but your bank manager refused, something about your overdraft being bellied out... I even explained to him it'd be an introductory price of 10p but he was quite resolute.
  24. Morning all from a misty Scottish Borders. Hope Agnes doesn't cause you people too much trouble.
