  1. Don't get a 2 in 1 sharpener, just get a 4mm file. 👍 Life is too short to worry about a 2 in 1 file. 😁
  2. You’re lucky to see those. I’ve seen 1 white admiral ever here. They are a concern on the conservation list. Nice to see different species.
  3. Well I thought best to start a new thread for butterflies mostly because I’ve seen loads this year and some that I had never seen before. Might not have been looking too close.
  4. A few nice catches recently. Whitethroat and Chiffchaff in there too.
  5. I have probably asked before, but what mill is that?
  6. Don't think they are rare, but believe they are a good sign of healthy water, ecology, etc.... Probably more likely that we don't see them much because they are the bottom of ponds and lakes. IMO.
  7. as @Vedhoggarsaid they do a lighter one. Are you specifically asking for chainsaw boots? I use the airpower xr26 boot for general work around the site, they are not chainsaw boots. They are good for getting dirty in though. HAIX UK, Official Onlineshop WWW.GOOGLEADSERVICES.COM
  8. Have a pair. But pretty heavy, Good in winter though. I put some dubbin on them to help the leather remain waterproof. I have other haix boots for year round work, they normally last about a year before they start crapping out.
  9. Its all about the patina anyway, looks good. Good idea for reusing them old cable reels. Lovely job innit.
  10. Nice. No I didn't know the auction was on, pitty, there were probably loads of things on there that would have been good to get. Always up for a good deal. 👍
  11. Ideal weather today. Bright and breezy. Not too hot and very pleasant. 👍
  12. Greenfinch turned up for the Niger seed
  13. Looks like a parent and two juveniles. Lucky them getting free peanuts.... Nice. 👍
  14. Cheers mate. I think it’s a seed from the fatball they seem to like 👍
  15. On the woodpecker theme. Got a few shots of a juvenile Great spotted yesterday .
  16. Well he is lucky to have someone helping him/her out. Very cute little birdy. 👍
  17. Quite a few fledglings out now after the Spring rush.
  18. Tried the head on shot of the damselfly @Pete W had posted. Telephoto as I’m yet to get a macro lens. and a couple more pics of the dragonflies on the pond. Some of the other coloured ones can be a pain to photograph. But I’ll keep trying.
  19. Had similar occurrence here as well and a couple of loud rumbles but then nothing but stonking heat for the rest of the day.
