Happened upon a stoat this morning, unfortunately it ran off very quickly. Not seen one in the wild before. otherwise caught this little fella on camera. Spotted long horn beetle. Thought it looked great.

Great stuff! Swallowtail, amazing looking butterfly. Pretty rare here these days along with the white admiral. Have been looking into the white admiral and it needs the native honeysuckle to lay its eggs on. Having gone through the site where I am, pretty convinced there is almost no honeysuckle left here. I might try and plant up a load around the hedgerows and hope to see more white admirals in the coming years..... Would be great to help improve their existence here on this beautiful island that is England!

You’re lucky to see those. I’ve seen 1 white admiral ever here. They are a concern on the conservation list. Nice to see different species.

Well I thought best to start a new thread for butterflies mostly because I’ve seen loads this year and some that I had never seen before. Might not have been looking too close.

Don't think they are rare, but believe they are a good sign of healthy water, ecology, etc.... Probably more likely that we don't see them much because they are the bottom of ponds and lakes. IMO.

as @Vedhoggarsaid they do a lighter one. Are you specifically asking for chainsaw boots? I use the airpower xr26 boot for general work around the site, they are not chainsaw boots. They are good for getting dirty in though. HAIX UK, Official Onlineshop WWW.GOOGLEADSERVICES.COM

Have a pair. But pretty heavy, Good in winter though. I put some dubbin on them to help the leather remain waterproof. I have other haix boots for year round work, they normally last about a year before they start crapping out.

Its all about the patina anyway, looks good. Good idea for reusing them old cable reels. Lovely job innit.
