  1. As above, Echo or otherwise battery but even the battery stuff is heavy and never as good as the echo 2511. there was a review in the most recent arb mag about 20 different top handle saws. You might find something useful in there....
  2. There’s no need to kill the battery. When it’s low. You should recharge it. If it’s lithium it will prefer to be kept charged. Or so I’ve been told on many occasions.
  3. First bit of milling with the chainsaw for a while. A small lump of cherry. Happy with the colour.
  4. Bought these pruners. Pretty handy will cut through 40mm easily. Makes many cut jobs a lot easier
  5. Nice Stubby. Quite often see the best birds on the feeders. Would like to see some waxwings and fieldfares some time this winter. But none round here at the moment.
  6. Its got s 60's or 70's look to it. That sort of era. Interesting concept.
  7. Cheers mate. Glad to finally get decent shots of Redwing. Been on the list for a few years.
  8. Some more birdies. Quite a few photos from this last week or so.
  9. Great photos of your work mate. Nicely done.👍
  10. And a few recent smaller birdies.
  11. Been to the local reservoir where there’s a colony of Cormorants. As well as other water birds. Here’s a few photos.
  12. Yes but pricey. Even their 12v version are £600 or more.
  13. Bought some of those 18v knock offs a few weeks ago. They are surprisingly good and cut nice and clean on stuff up to 35-40mm. Hundreds of options. I went with these. They come with two batteries. But work even better with a makita battery. £80. There are a load more for double that price. though saying that my favourite secateurs are the 9” ARS bypass.
  14. Good call. Well that’s that then. Off to the pub!
  15. Yes mate think so. Thanks for watching. 👍 he/she saw me before he made the catch and ran into the woods.
  16. I've had this monster diesel washer for the last 4 or 5 years. Its a beast and the company have very good parts and service. Its electric and pull start and many options such as longer hoses and it can easily work from a tank. Heavy but good. We've used it for hundreds of hours without any trouble. They do smaller machines if that's what you are after. Kiam KM3600DX Industrial Diesel Pressure Washer (10HP) EQUIP2CLEAN.CO.UK Ideal for the professional user with an operating pressure of 3400 PSI / 225 BAR at 15 Litres per minute. The Kiam KM3600DX gives MASSIVE PRESSURE and BIG FLOWRATES for the best...
  17. For an older person I would propose one of these options for the home garden: Just a moment... WWW.TOOLSTODAY.CO.UK Makita DUM604Z 18v LXT Cordless Garden Pruner Hedge Cutter Grass Shear + Handle WWW.BUYAPARCEL.COM
  18. Don't know about you but I make sure I get onto the Mince pies and Brandy Cream extra thick as soon as they are in the shops. The question is, who is on what pies? Which ones are most favouring? It is important details like this that make December one of the better months of the year. Do you do local farm shop mince pies, Tesco, Sainsbury's, M&S, Waitrose, Lidl, Aldi (other supermarkets are available)? Iceland? Safeway? Which brandy cream do you prefer, and would you rather do brandy butter, homemade or branded? Feel free to answer these questions. Its good to get it all out on the table.
