  1. Not In My Back Yard😫
  2. This is up for auction at weekend, HJ Pugh, Ledbury which is across in Herefordshire?
  3. It’s the right colour to put some Vermeer stickers on and nobody would know the difference🤔
  4. So Trump isn’t happy with migrants to invade the USA but he expects Egypt and Jordan to take on 1.5 mill🤔. There’s already hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Jordan and have been for decades. Jordan is a relatively poor country with no oil like the rest of them. No wonder Netanyahu said it was worth listening to? Trump is replacing Gaza with bloody Disneyland Middle East? Win Win for Israel.
  5. Nice one GA for putting it out there and being honest👍. All I’ll add is throw in a Rotor nose shaft and rear shaft( the op hopes it’s just the bearings?) and possible pain in the arse to remove these and you could add another £5/600?
  6. Can’t believe that loader is £1482. Surely a mistake? A 3 in 1 bucket is worth more than that? The Chinese made stuff seems to be around £5-6000.00. Yes, they’re probably shit but if it’s one of those or nothing they could be an option surely. Particularly if it’s for occasional use, kept in the dry so they don’t rust away after a year. Look at the Sany diggers, they seem to be a good buy for the money and if looked after hold good 2nd hand prices. Seen one loader advertised with forks, bucket and brash grab and an option of log grab for £1500? The obvious makes would want 5G + for bucket, brash grab and log grab alone.
  7. You can go in single wall up to 400mm from ceiling. It must be twin wall from 400mm below ceiling and through the ceiling and roof structure to the termination of chimney.
  8. What ever height you choose it’ll never be the height you want? At least with 3 adjustable legs it gives you a small leeway of about 450mm working height at top step?
  9. I’m sure the songs very good if yer into that kind of music but to be honest AHPPy it makes my ears bleed😳
  10. You don’t say how close, or what trees and size. If it’s a new house it could have NHBC protection, or one of the several insurance schemes. NHBC have guidelines when building near trees and so do I presume the other schemes which are often overseen by architects? However generally the builder/ developer pays the NHBC or insurance? Who pays the piper calls the tunes? When you purchased the house if a survey was required any trees that could have presented a problem should have been noted - not a lot changes in 6 years?
  11. Tony Martin - farmer. Someone who stood up for himself after being initially let down by the police and lawmakers.
  12. You say the chimney is “unlined”? Presume stove pipe terminates into some sort of register plate at the base of the chimney? That’s not a good practice because the original brick built chimney would be difficult to clean thoroughly and this could lead to any unswept soot falling down to the register plate and catching fire from the burner? If you have a small fire on top of the register plate it could lead to more soot and tar falling from the flue and feeding the fire. The existing chimney should be lined, either with a flexible liner or propriety interlocking concrete/ vermiculite liner? There are other systems.
  13. Whatever they stock it’s gotta be really bright colours and shiney🤔
  14. BRILLIANT 😂👍
  15. Does he mail to the US of A though? What do you mean by “smoking”.
  16. I think Wood wool slabs can be used for sound insulation.
  17. You’ve spelt pathetic wrong? There’s no sym in front of it🙄
  18. So what boots are you going to pretend to wear🤔
  19. Especially when he says he’s “wondering what People actually ware on their feet” and he’s “read that chainsaw boots are awful for climbing and steel toe caps make it all worse”. His other post he mentions he’s spent all day doing systems in a tree and has sore hands? Obviously not done any courses or tree work? I stand ready to be corrected but think it’s all bull.
  20. Presume Aspen is considered to be the same as petrol under the regulations so maximum allowed for storage at home is 30 litres. Business premises is different. Of course no one one will ever know unless your garage goes up in flames and the fire brigade arrives?
  21. And if you leave it roadside for any time expect some of it to grow legs and walk? Put the word out to your nearest firewood producers to see if they’re interested. Chestnut’s not particularly good firewood(but better than burning your furniture and doors to keep warm) if it close grown, straight and clean could go for stakes, rails, cleft products and make better money than firewood or biomass? Any surplus wood get it back to the yard and save it for those quiet/ early finish days and convert it to firewood.
  22. Let us know if they increase the personnel in your local cuntstabulary firearms office? I wouldn’t bet on it🤔
  23. Have you considered New Zealand? There’s a job advertised yesterday, less extreme weather, great country, great people, great rugby to watch or play and no nasty snakes(on land?) or crocs😳. If I was young again I’d go again in a flash. Must add I’m nothing to do with the NZ Labour market.
  24. While killing time waiting to pick up the misses from her weekly shopping trip I popped into the local Lidl and they have a Chinese copy of the Canadian wood burner twin fan for £30, either that or it was a Welsh drone 😳
  25. Just a stab in the dark here Stubby but could be Yu-jin from Korea or someone else with a similar type of name cos I’ve seen some of his work before🤔
