  1. frigging ell!. didn't have Norway so I put Sitka in the calculator. 1.8 ton. oops
  2. Looks like Mother Nature was in the middle of creating a clove hitch and got disturbed by some wood nymphs
  3. Ok, I know the above is not much of a question but I had a good sess milling spruce yesterday and completely filled my L200 to the brim with 2” 8’ planks. It has a load capacity of 1ton. Drove slowly back and handled ok but I figured it was at limit or beyond Ie is there a formula for calculating weight?
  4. I will give it a shot. Ta
  5. So why doesn’t she buy a pallet load and save money?
  6. As a kid I remember asking my dad why god invented fleas. “So you wash yourself son” Now I know there is no reason, they just are, they evolved to fill a niche. I disagree that humans would not survive without wasps. Something else would take their place. Apparently neither Sweet Baby Jesus nor Allah likes vacuums. I don’t mind them myself but then again I’m not a deity
  7. [emoji23] Edward. Even my autistic son would see that was tongue in cheek
  8. I meant the tree was the danger. But...hear me out...you are cycling along...a woodie flies over the road, shits and it lands in your eye...blinds you and you ride into an oncoming lorry. They should be shot on site IMO
  9. Talking about dried out squirrel. Saw this recently on the web https://allthatsinteresting.com/stuckie-mummy-dog I would have shat myself
  10. Why did you have to include the word “old”? Completely changes how I react to this
  11. I cannot believe this. Wood pigeon are under general license and can be shot all through the year but not at night. I can understand a non pest bird but definitely not if a danger to humans
  12. I take it you edited out the other 30 minutes?
  13. Trees wot I chop darn My only problem is where to keep it all What I would like to know is who the hell buys a small bag at a time for a tenner from B&Q?
  14. You don’t make your own bread do you?
  15. Thanks Mick. That’s 5 minutes of my life I cannot get back
  16. Like it says, when felling a leaner and just the strap is left to cut, what’s the difference between just cutting straight through or as I have seen on YouTube, a Canadian logger cutting it from above angled?
  17. Can u give me the link to eBay? Your idea of cheap might differ from mine. Currently I am using a hand ascender in the same set up as you. Works ok but obviously bulky
  18. Will you have to return your MBE?
  19. I keep on promising myself to keep one pocket sealed, just for my phone, but no, too difficult
  20. Err, yes, I am. I cannot change how my ears work so the onus is on him to change. I would love to have a debate with him although I was not president of the debating society at my school as my comp didn't have one. I wouldn't call him a dick, I would just put my point over in a respectful way and as soon as it looked I was losing the argument, nut him. Politicians are like Eggs, they love to argue the toss...
  21. How about on how they name their kids? Sixtus Boniface and Anselm Fitzwilliam?? Stop being a social warrior and call a spade a spade. He’s a dick. If he made an effort he could easily tone down his plummy accent but he chooses not to, cos he’s a dick
  22. I stopped watching Wranglerstar a few years ago when he endorsed Trump. he seemed to know his way around a chainsaw when I was watching but why would he not comment on the problem techniques? all he had to say was, "watch the nose for kickback", "that will pinch your saw","the tension on the gas saw needs tightening", "your face being 6 inches away from a woman with a chainsaw isn't a good idea" etc
