  1. Sorry but the ash will be gone soon then it will just be the leftover spruce that I don’t mill into planks. Small scale Flogging my log has been a pastime of mine for some years now
  2. I don’t understand. If people want it then they will pay for it. If they can’t afford hard, they will go soft? I plan to flog logs when I retire in 3 years. Currently I’m selling ton bags of air dried ash to friends and co for £35 hoping they will keep with me when that runs out and my softwood is dry for same price
  3. That’s me that is! I can do it with two sticks ( but do tend to rely on fire lighters when no one’s looking )
  4. Not had the fiskRs but I have the Gransfor and it’s a dream
  5. Are free sweets not enough? throw in a cream bun and I will buy owt
  6. Cheers. I’ve only tried once on a cherry for a chopping board. It was in the shape of a heart. Effing thing split and my heart was broken figuratively and factually [emoji26]
  7. Silly question. How do you prevent it splitting?
  8. Debate over. I just got an orange lozenge from Stihl when I ordered a Shizll from Gustharts. Never had a sweetie from Husqvarna
  9. 1800 dollars?? Glad to see the human spirit is universal and just not associated with one group or another
  10. sorry, can now on internet but there wasn't anything on my app??
  11. That does it then. Logs will go through the glass sooner or later and I have a big outdoor dryer anyway. I will use it for kindling. Thanks

  14. I use this. Saves my legs
  15. Just costed the fan and panel. About £400. I might just risk the mold
  16. Can anyone spot the differences in the two photos? I just wondered if it was as easy as buying a fan and hooking it up to a solar panel?
  17. That’s exactly what I mean. Mine’s for for planks so want to keep humidity down
  18. i have a large greenhouse doing nowt. thinking of using it for drying. figured i would need a decent fan at one end and the door open at the other, powered by a solar panel. anyone done this?
  19. As long as it’s cheap [emoji106]
  20. i just booked a 3 day break in istanbul in November should get more for my stirling ?
  21. re Saudi. That’s supply and demand nothing to do with altruism. The country is a disgrace. I’m up for a scrap. Defend them further [emoji8]
  22. Sorry all. my wife has informed me that is homophobic. I apologise. She’s cool with having a go at Ozzie’s though
  23. Come on Stubby. Not all Aussies are pillow biters!
  24. Come on Eggs! Why if it is to be believed? I live amongst a load of travellers and see young 6 yr old kids boxing each other with gloves on with adults shouting then on in local fields regularly
  25. I read “Gypsy Boy”. A book written by a gay gipsy bloke who basically had 7 shades kicked out of him by his family to make him straight. He dished the dirt telling of all their tricks, putting petrol in old tarmac to “thin it out”. As the article says, it would last until it rained. My elderly stupid brother answered the door to a cold caller re his roof. Blow me he needed a new one! And he fecking agreed!! I moved in to my 150 year old house 30 years ago and got a roofer in for some new slates. Apparently I needed a new roof as well! Its still water tight. I now put any stray slates in myself
