  1. And if it starts, none of the above will save him. Natural selection at its finest. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  2. I'd rather have uninspiring over its not working again. [emoji23]
  3. Just checked the catalogue, My error, it IS a pro saw. Joe I think the same about the 550&560. [emoji51]
  4. Mines 01/17 built. No problem with the needle cage. Once bedded in its sweet. Pulling 18" .325 all day It's light, and cuts very fast with full chisel. The 241 is a domestic model and won't last for commercial use. [emoji12][emoji106]
  5. If you think a 241 is tasty, try a 261. [emoji12][emoji106]
  6. For a day of heavy endless rain, the rubbery stihl waterproof jacket is just that. The hood is a bit crap though. After a few days of dragging mud and brash, the orange panels darken nicely. [emoji106]
  7. I just needed a table. Quickly. [emoji106]
  8. "The counts of the indictment are luxury, bad manners, contempt for authority, disrespect to elders, and a love for chatter in place of exercise." Plato 400BC (Possibly). [emoji848][emoji12][emoji23][emoji106]
  9. Where are you recruiting from guys???? The day centre or the cue outside the Jeremy Kyle show??? [emoji848]
  10. I don't get many calls for dragging brash, But the ones who pay that know what I can do and how safely and quickly. [emoji3]
  11. I got the job only if I'd learn to climb. Found out over the last couple of weeks that I really can't climb. Get to 30' and my brain freaks out. Every time. So I handed my notice in yesterday. They want to keep me on for a few months until they can recruit. It's a shame cos it's quite fun working with the council. Really decent crew and very varied work. Wages are really crap though. I'm hoping I can upgrade the van before November. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]

  14. Dbikeguy, Always remember: Opinions are like arseholes. Everyone's got one, and they're usually full of shit. The only opinion that counts is your own. [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  15. Bolam you're a poet [emoji106][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji12]
  16. Only if there's no anchor for a winch. [emoji106]
  17. In brief: I lived in a plasterboard box, Went to work in a bigger box. Hated every day. Woke up dreading another day in the office. Lived amongst a million other boxes. Had to get out. Now everyday I wake up curious to what find out what I'm cutting today. Trees and nature are my office. I still live in a box, But one day I'll live in the woods.
  18. Very tidy [emoji106][emoji106][emoji106]
  19. Piss is a boiling. Fecking thieves Fecking police ??‍♂️??‍♂️??‍♂️[emoji51]
  20. Shouldn't we be teaching AI ethics and morality? Empathy and love? Co-operation is the only way forward. Now, where's the tin foil. [emoji51]
  21. Get cs30,31,38 and 39. Get NEW ppe. That's your 2k spent. With that you could find work with a firm looking for a newbie. Having paid your own tickets means you are keen. Be prepared to drive long distances and get beasted regularly. It will take several years of learning within a decent outfit before you are competent. Lastly stihlmad had a very angry but completely valid point. It's not an easy ride. [emoji848][emoji57][emoji12][emoji106]
