  1. It’s all about merino wool! Be it socks or base layers merino wool socks in a good goretex boot will keep you dry and sweat free.
  2. Silky where you been? This place isn’t quite the same without your updates/adventures!
  3. What did you not like about it Steve?
  4. What’s skiing in Czech like?
  5. I don’t have a day rate I work out how long jobs take and put a value on my time per the job after all there’s only so much someone will pay to prune an apple tree or remove a small prunus etc. Some days ill do 3 jobs that will far exceed a day rate of say £6-700 other days 1 job may work to that price others I may do small jobs over half a day and be under a day rate price but over the year it works out. I dont care care what others do or charge I only care about what I do and charge and sometimes it’s funny in the sense that customers get a feel for you as you do them when pricing and 9 times out of 10 I’m told your not as cheap as other prices we have been quoted but when can you do the job. Lastly I understand that people know what it costs them to operate for a day and they won’t operate for a penny less and they usually make the same every day BUT it also costs them more by not going out at all. I find reputation normally dictates who gets the job not price.

    365 vs 372

Found and purchased a 372xp 2005 on Thursday it turned up on friday, very clean had little use. Runs and sounds very crisp and cuts excellent I’ll give it a proper run next week. The guy I bought it off seems a good bloke and as a side note if anyone is interested he has a 2003 372xp/g for sale.
  8. Absolutely, saw one in action the other day, I’ll get a video up later when I get time.
  9. Yes they do, yes the 28 degrees is a strange one! Out of interest how how many people use a guide when filing?

Does anyone have one they’d like to sell?
  11. Glad your ok! However that hat has shocked me given that your in the top 48% of people one would have thought you would have read a few thousand pages on the subject rolled hundreds of opinions into your own disregarded everything anyone else offered and opened it the smart way?! Turns out scissors where the right answer all along. PS I hope you see my attempt at humour and take this post how it’s meant.
  12. Timber hitch.

    Favourite Saw

I have just brought an 020av back from the brink, cracking saw going to give it a proper run next week so I’ll report back on the thread I created for it. As for weight at first I thought it was heavy then when I was comparing it to the husky t540xp v2 it felt exactly the same in weight, I weighed them both on scales (big scales used for weighing humans) and they where the same. I was shocked, granted if I weighed them on more refined scales there may be a slight difference as what I used may of been a little crude for the task but on my scales and on feel if there is a difference it would only be hairs between them.
  15. I know what you mean but the world still needs good people, I just care now about things I can control or make a difference to be that fundraising when I do stupid events or like last night when passing 2 homeless chaps on the way home, knowing storm Brian was on route I went to the garage and bought them 2 coffees and a bag of food only a tenner to me to them ...... For the world to continue having/being good people need to do good.
  16. That looks like it will be amazing! Any idea how you are going to attach it?
  17. Do you have ant 372’s for sale?
  18. You where doing well and then we go back in reverse and generalise again thinking we know what people are thinking and what they want to do. You ever thought of putting yourself out there and becoming an MP? You seemingly know what we all want and what is best for us.
  19. You might make that argument and be naive enough to believe that however devolution of powers with ever increasing fees and payments would have continued. Would devolution of powers got far enough as to where we could no longer run our country? I’m glad we will never know. We went cap in hand for a better deal to stay as we were if you remember and what did the EU give Cameron to come back with? Nothing! Let’s not pretend things would have stayed the same.
  20. Exactly, no one knows what will happen! You can read as much as you like by who you like but that sentence just about sums it up, no one knows what will happen, you included.
  21. No I don’t believe you, your arrogance to generalise makes me chuckle the material you read will also generalise what it thinks people voted for and why. Ok you may dig deeper than most on repercussions of what will happen if ...... but that is also based on generalisations and the thoughts based on someone’s agenda, it is all opinion based. No one knows what will really happen if they did they would pick next weeks 6 numbers on the lotto.
  22. @eggsarascal did you manage to have a think on the water? Private or public which is/has provided a better service taking costings into account etc?
  23. The whole of this post falls down at “I think” you have no idea why people voted for what you just think you do with your wild generalisations based upon a bit of reading you have done in your spare time!

    365 vs 372

What are the best years to buy if original? @Sveriges why? Will the 572 be better?
