The mix screw has been snapped off the carb, we can get it to run but not for long but it sounds sweet. Going to see if I can get a carb for it and get it up and running. With a 14 inch bar on it it looks like it would be ok for chogging down or dropping connies. I also want want to try it to see if as an industry we have moved on or not? Definitely improved on weight saving
  2. Come across this today so jetwashed it and tried to get it running, mainly to see what saws of yesteryear where all about. Jeez it’s heavy!
  3. I’m tattoo’d white and ginger (prefer strawberry blonde), what’s your problem!

Haha he’s ok, yes we let him pick and choose when he wants to play out and also let him pick and choose what he wants to do. He’s good to have around and look after by doing the hard work for him as he’ll go at it longer then and the 1 thing he as in abundance is experience. Everyday is a learning day. He was impressed with your setup and said you where both good blokes so we’ll be setting an account up and ordering from you guys going forward.
  5. Your arrogance is astounding, your also an oxymoron in the sense your willing to learn yet your against learning from people on here, or maybe your leaning on your arragonce to the fact you think your above people on here as well as over half of the numpties in the uk.
  6. Strength in numbers, I wonder if Greece think there is strength in numbers? To be honest I now have the measure of you, anyone with the arrogance to think they can be nothing other than correct and to call more than 50% of the country a clueless bunch of numpties well Ill save myself some time and leave debating with you well alone. The EU is a failed state and one thing time will show is for that to be correct.
  7. If you could personally better yourself or had the opportunity to do so would you or would you carry on as is even if you could see as is getting worse?
  8. Ooohh good thread!

Big shout out to skyland equipment, we needed a long rigging rope ASAP and after a quick phone call last night they put one to one side, sent the father in law first thing all there ready to go.
  10. Looking for a tip site in Golborne or Ashton in Makerfield nr Wigan.
  11. Same, I’m covered for myself/own jobs and I suppose as my insurance is 365 days of the year I’m covered when I’m subbing however when I am subbing I’m not using my insurance it is theirs who I am subbing to that I am using if its ever needed. If something was to go wrong you would be claiming against the person/company almost like your suing them. Same applies if someone is subbing to you, your insurance should cover them.

No thorns, no pods. Quite a few people have settled on gleditsia. I agree, honey locust.

I’m stumped I can’t get away from robinia or black locust but neither fit the growth rate

Yes I thought robinia but these are between 30-40 year old never pruned!

They are about 30 year old. Very slow growing.
  22. Is a burka ban racist?
  23. Keeping things simple means there is less to go wrong. Someone mentioned a rope should be the last thing to go wrong, I think it should be the first, if it is the last you could end up with a chunk of metal be it biner, pulley etc flying at you because your rope is the strongest bit of kit in the system.
  24. Does anyone rig in its most basic form ie just using a rope and the tree your in?
  25. Anyone done it? If so how did you find it? Thinking of signing up for next year. http://ratrace.com/manvsmountain/ Really fancied the man vs coast but the wife is due in march and going away for a long weekend with a 2-3 month old sounds like too much hard work!
