1. It may have peaked on fields they know of and are in production but with ever enhancing tech and finding new fields how does anyone really know where we are on that curved graph?! Trigger not sure how we got onto oil on here and it's not really a relevant topic so to speak however I'm quite enjoying the insight and your posts, keep em coming!
2. Brown envelopes anyone?
3. Cotton pop ripped out, some of it wedged in the sycamore which was over a car park and bin store for good measure.
4. Hmm surely he put his house in harms way by extending towards the tree?!? Sorry it's not what you asked but .........
5. Yes I have recently bought a husky 115li and it's great for edging and long grass which is all it's intended for. It's a great bit of kit but anything heavy and the ear defence and 2 stroke come out. All in all I think it's a step in the right direction, well pleased with it it is a cracking bit of kit that has its place. Sort of like having a top handle and an 880 same tool different uses.
6. £100 fee for emergency plus hourly rate your happy with. They can roughly figure out the price before they ring you for future call outs.
7. Nice!! Good job that mate👍
8. Out of interest can you post some pics please.
9. But still you'll have to work hard to get it! If you do get to that money you'll have earned it I have no problems with people going and getting! I commend it more should try it!
10. Yes I like politics and do more than average research on policies when it counts but as you say we can only assess and do what we feel is best for ourselves. Best of luck to you too and I really do hope you get the best out of uni and hit that payrise!
11. No I'm not but I'm young well youngish 😂 and prepared to bend my back. Nothing is given in this life you have to go out and earn it and whilst things could always be better I think we are mostly doing ok. I'm never going to be in the top 1% so honestly couldn't care less what they earn but the tax they pay, jobs created, wages paid which in turn pays more tax I can live with. If your prepared to work hard good things will come we only have to look at silkys thread to see that in action. I'm not 1 colour politically mark I choose who I think best suits me at that time. I vote selfishly but surely everyone should do that for their best interests. Corbyns probably a cracking bloke he seems normal enough I just can't get his policies to add up in my mind partly explained in my last post the LVT scares the sh@t out of me amongst other things it's pointless going into it all as I'm never going to persuade anyone to change their mind or beliefs on party colours it just doesn't work. Lastly I'm ex forces may goes to armed forces Day he goes to Glastonbury (cool to the yoof but not how I want to see the leader or possible future leader of the uk), his policies on defence are too soft for my liking but that's just me. I will probably vote labour again in my lifetime (if I like what I see) but I couldn't this time, I'm not saying may is the answer or the best political leader but as I have previously stated I'm happy with the way things are why should I vote to change them.
12. Sorry mark I was generalising I didn't mean you where bleating. People get shafted with them. I live in Wigan it's hardly Hollywood but things are good people are spending money and the place has a good feel about it. If our wages haven't moved why should anyone else's? Food is affordable most people have sky/virgin, a smart phone and a first world problem now is sh@t internet. It's relatively easy to work hard live within your means and still go on holiday. If I'm racing to the bottom so be it eggs. A hard working family can earn say 23-26k between them and manage (they'll be classed as low earners with tax allowance 11k ish) a 2nd or 3rd generation benefit family could be given 26k soon to be 23k how is that fair on the low earning workers? Corbyns answer min wage up, seems great but food will go up to pay the extra tax and min wage bills soooo benefits can't afford to eat so let's give them more which = where we are now but inflation up what's the point!! So yes I'm happy with the way things are. Sorry for the ramble.
13. Exactly so why is everyone else bleating on about payrises? I read somewhere RMT are going to cause more strikes and refuse to accept a 20 something % pay rise for train drivers!!!!! REALLY I dislike unions and how the can be affiliated to any party as surely it is a conflict of interests.
14. Pay rise .... anybody had one or given their lads one in the last few years? ............ anybody?
15. Just out of interest how many lads on here have had a pay rise in the last few years or given their lads a pay rise in the last few years?

18. What do you all have if any? Had an LG for a while bought it quite cheap just to see how much I'd use it. A lot was the answer so upgraded to a B&O beoplay A1 today and WOW amazing speaker! Plugged it in to the tv to enjoy some Glastonbury it's amazing for its size.
19. 😂you two crack me up!
20. The house has moved, not clear movement caused by the tree per se its 70 years old now you are not hiding the tree by getting another survey you are getting another opinion if he thinks there has been movement but now it's settled then your fine. The tree gone is a good thing the soil will return to its correct levels of moisture, we are all different that wouldn't have bothered me from buying my dream house. It seems you have moved on however so I wish you all the best in the house you have settled on (sorry couldn't resist).
21. If you get another report with no tree to see would they pick up that the cracks are due to a tree? If the answer is no it's insurable surely...... If you get another survey with someone else and it costs £x and it makes it right for said insurance knock the money for the survey off price of the property and some for all the hassle. After all it's your dream home!
22. Worrying too much, the house has been there nearly 70 years it is not going to suddenly collapse! The tree gone is a good thing the soil will get its moisture back. If it's your dream home knock some 💵 off with what you know about the tree etc but the place and live happily ever after.
23. 👍 A conifer wouldn't deter me from buyin my dream home as he put it, it would merely be used as a bargaining chip to knock some 💵 off!
24. So if it has another report will that report deem the house as fit to live in?
