  1. Sorry Gary was referencing mine. Almost 70 years though if it was '50 it ain't going anywhere. That's my view anyhow. It wouldn't put me off purchase, if the bank are willing to lend your more than likely safe, I'd use it as a bargaining chip personally.
  2. People are under the misconception that the roots cause movement and cracks through growing under the property which could happen but not always. The damage occurs mostly because of the amount of water the tree takes away from the soil therefore soil shrinks house moves. Taking the tree down in this instance could have a positive impact on the soil and also take the fear away for the next buyer. My personal take on houses may differ from yours they will all move at some point, on my survey they said it had moved in the past it had a few cracks but it was built in 1880 so it's hardly going anywhere fast or going to go anywhere!

Yes price is appealing think I'm going to try it instead of a 2 stroke we have a big stihl for the heavy stuff. I'd like to know how long the battery lasts though.

    Edging Strimmer

Sorry I'm in the old app so I can watch videos etc, it doesn't navigate well. Anyway which strimmer😂
  6. If it is like a divorce (eu's wording) coming out of the eu then surely we add all assets, money, savings etc etc up and divide that number by 28 and we take our share with us which I am pretty sure would mean they'll owe us!! £100billion 😂
  7. I'm on 13mm hedera and love it, don't like the feel of 11.7 in the hands.
  8. Why have you gone back to 13mm and which do you prefer?
  9. Once I have cleaned mine, can't remember what tree I was in but it was pissing down and it got really gunked up, shortly after I started using a cambium saver never had the problem or need to clean it since.
  10. What's your weapon of choice? Anyone have one of these, https://www.frjonesandson.co.uk/products/husqvarna-115il-battery-brushcutterstrimmer-kit/ if so what are your thoughts? Thanks
  11. 😂 love it always a reason why we are wrong! Why are you correct eggs? What was you doing whilst waiting for parts from head office? Organising the EU?! Please see my humour and find that funny, or nearly funny🤐
  12. It's refreshing to hear a remainer change his mind as apparently all the remain votes are stead fast whilst brexiteers are quibbling and want another vote to change their minds 😂! Couldn't make it up!
  13. Yes there would because we are in the EU tut tut wake up!!! How can they offer jobs to their own but we can't we are both in the EU! Jeez!
  14. Fair enough but that's the same for 100% of our population in the UK surely?! Personally agree with skyhuck same and worse. Leave may also be worse but we'd never know if we didn't try .... It could ultimately be better😱 shudder at that thought!
  15. Errrrrrrrrrrrrrr I have now for 2 days and that's my biggest gripe with them! As a back up yes great but all summer between tree jobs no I don't think they would do you any good long term. I think they are a great back up pair to save on down time. I bought them as a new head for the stihls was more than the cobras cost so I thought sharpen and service I'll try the cobras with a Kawasaki engine why the stihls are getting done. No down time. They work well but I can't shake (no pun intended) the anti havs off it would bother me long term BUT as a back up used sparingly yes they are great.
  16. Can you tell us what's going to happen if we stay?
  17. There is a reason we are treated like mushrooms! If I was on that payroll I'd spout sh!t too!
  18. The cobras are pretty much a lesser version of stihl but for the money quite impressive! I have used them 2 days running now and I'm quietly impressed for the price! They are a nice back up pair to the stihls but absolutely not a replacement.
  19. What is your weapon of choice? Took our Stihls in for a sharpen and service and couldn't help buy a set of Cobra long handles with a Kawasaki engine, £225. They seem ok built sturdy cut well but should as they are brand new but the lack of anti vibe is probably where your extra dollars go on a top pair. All in all they'll make a good back up set to the stihls.
  20. I would girdle the ivy at the bottom let it die then suggest a thin, if the trees are healthy that would let more light pass through and keep the trees in good health. If the trees are covered in ivy can you see any possible defects?
  21. What about the millions of boards of cedar cladding plastered over buildings all over the place? I see loads of cedar cladding on schools nowadays as well as new buildings in town/city centres, how is this allowed as surely it is also flammable?
  22. If Mr Hammond is correct then surely every signature that signed the work off should be under investigation. Surely that negligence helped the fire spread. They are however not to blame for the fire surely the blame lies with the faulty appliance and falls under the term ACCIDENT.
  23. Due to the circumstances the developers did a deal with the government/council on the price they sold them at cost price £10m for 68 flats that would have retailed at £160m Now after Corbyn has spouted he'd steal from the rich or claim squatters rights I wander if he'll give this deal any praise?!
  24. Can't believe you know who Chuck Norris is if your only 17! 👍
  25. I'll try again the rich are richer and the poor are poorer. Who are the rich and who are the poor?
