  1. Im loving all this attention. Quite flattering really. My own wee following. Anyway, Im more than happy to hear others opinions, you and the other select few in your coven seem completely unwilling to listen to anything other that what you wish to believe. I quite happily accept others will have a differing opinion than me. Yet this is a sub-forum for debate, so we're allowed robust discussions on opinions that differ from our own. Yet all Ive seen the last few days is you and the other usual suspects going absolutely bananas for the views I hold on subjects like Covid. How very accepting of you. A select few have openly voiced what an idiot I am for holding the views on Covid and the Vaccines (words to that effect) but thats ok in your eyes as it aligns with your own POV. Take a look back at some of the posts directed my way in the Covid thread. Where I to have written in such a way Id be instantly banned. Yet you and the other of the famous five seem to feel such personal attacks is justified. Two wrongs dont make a right, open hostility should be treated as such regardless who its from. This new line of reasoning from Stu is quite disingenuous. Creating a strawman that I was attacking mental illness? I never did. I'll openly condemn Junkies and pissheads though, and thats my prerogative. As you say, we should all accept other peoples opinions, thats mine, please accept it. To have him doggedly attack me repeatedly for something he believes Ive done, yet Ive refuted it is another form of abuse. Water off a ducks back to me really. Yet Im now in a position of fending off a few cranks with one hand behind my back for where I to respond in a like manor Id get the book thrown at me. Which I believe is the goading's real aim. Having left you and the others to your abusive posts in the Covid Vaccine thread you and the other usual suspects have jumped on the back of Stu's misguided crusade to carry on where you left off in a completely different thread. So please, carry on with your abusive righteous indignation where you clearly thing the end justifies the means but its beyond laughable that you do not see the rank hypocrisy here.
  2. You have a nice evening.
  3. Ive sold various saws and Mills directly on the Milling sub-Forum, each has sold within days.
  4. I know a guy who has one and also a Rayco Junior. He prefers the Avant Grinder on the bigger stumps and the Rayco on the smaller stumps. He had the Avant plus Grinder at my place and as a skilled operator he made short work of some large stumps. He takes it on a lot of jobs when he’s bringing the Avant but since I’ve not had a play with it Im quite happy borrowing the Rayco.
  5. Again no. I was highlighting a list of benefits brexit has brought or could bring us. If one of the glaringly obvious reasons a price increase somehow touched on a yet nameless member it was purely accidental. The fact that this type of establishment is filled on a daily basis with the types of people I’ve highlighted is hardly unknown. I think you’re adding two and two together here and getting five. You’re letting personal views of me get in the way of a logical debate.
  6. My excessive use of emojis has been well documented of late. Take no heed of them for they are meaningless gibberish. Surely a price rise in the likes of Weatherspoons caused by an increased wage for the workers there is an acceptable price to pay? If a knock-on effect of this price rise is junkies, drunks and bums no longer frequent their establishments and allowing the return of honest working members of the public and their family’s can only be seen as a positive, no?
  7. Well, that’s your opinion. What I was referring to of course is the clientele that Weatherspoons is well renowned for. It’s hardly a secret that the dross of society hang out on a daily basis in places where they have access to cheap booze, since we’re discussing Weatherspoons it happens to be a prime example.
  8. Perhaps the real reason working in the U.K. was not so much the jobs and wages but the access to our benefits system? Now that they’re denied the rights to rape the system working for minimum wage is not any more appealing for them as it is for the supposedly workshy here in the U.K.? If this results in companies all over the U.K. being forced to pay a real living wage to British people then I’m all for that. I’d far rather British people who do want to work being paid a liveable wage to make it worth their while instead of some Eastern European who is entitled to a raft of benefits that is sent to these countries and allows them to live to a far higher standard than those on the same wage could enjoy here in the U.K. It really is a win/win. Money generated in the U.K. stays in the economy. British citizens could be paid a wage that actually entices them off of a life of benefits. Weatherspoons has to increase their prices and it keeps the Junkie Cider swilling families out. Brexit, the gift that keeps on giving.
  9. That’s about what I’m paying for the next 5t I’m getting. When is Latch considered oversized? The stuff Im getting is 20-24”. I’ll have to drop the FLS a bell when im home.
  10. That’s good going. Thanks for the tip, I’ll do that.
  11. What did you pay for it? How do you go about contacting the Forestry?
  12. I’ve a bunch of logs that I’ll get 4” posts out of. Soul destroyingly slow going. If my basic math is correct £750m3 is £27f3. So much the same. Considerably more than others here suggested the going rate was. Supply and demand I guess?
  13. How much are you getting for your rails per cubic foot? Since my Mill is situated behind my new fence I’ve been getting loads of folk stopping and asking me to make them the same. I’m now short of supply I’ve stated £30 a cubic foot and sold everything I currently have spare at that. Wish I could get more but only have another 5t on its way.
  14. I guess it will just be one of life’s little mystery’s.
  15. If his business model requires European Labour and the U.K. is still flooded with Europeans who have gained a right to stay in the U.K. due to living here before a certain deadline why are they not working for him?
  16. Not when there is 80% of wages handed out. There is literally millions of Europe’s who have gained the right to stay in the U.K. They might enjoy working in a Pub, but I expect they like free cash even more. Round my way, pre-Covid the vast majority of Pub/Restaurant workers where British students. I suspect it’s no different now.
  17. Only because the government is paying U.K. based citizens 80% of their wages in furlough. One has to give. Either allow controlled (heavily controlled) migration from European, which can be ended quickly and not have to fund their children back in Eastern Europe indefinitely after or quit the charade that is furlough and get the dossers back to work. Simples. (Smiley face)
  18. You should really try a 60cc saw, or even something in the 50cc range before giving up. It’s a night and day difference. I can noodle through oak with a blunt chain with a 362 without it bogging down.
  19. Have you considered a more powerful saw? Others have mentioned it but 40cc saws are fine for ringing up branches etc. Something like a Stihl 362 and you’d be laughing. Lightweight and powerful. You’d also have the size of spikes you’re after. [emoji16]
  20. Just following your lead Legless. Two can play your game, I'll just need to get drunk as you to be on a level pegging. You'd not want me to highlight all the the times you mention me unsolicited wee man. You might not know how often you do so but you'll be in for a hiding. And you keep PMing me too. You're a horny old man thats for sure. xxx
  21. No different than Maple or Birch Sap alcohol. Of course pointless pointing this out when it’s been felled, Legless. Still pissed up I see?
  22. Like an onion?
  23. That he’s in America or you’re in your usual drunk mode?
  24. Because he’s in the US? Are you drunk again, Legless?
  25. You dont think you’d be better off asking on a yank forum?
