  1. Howling Gale now. Trees down on many roads and structural damage. Power has been off since 1600. Running off the generator now Thankfully log burner is doing its thing and hobs run on propane 👍.
  2. Blowing hard up here in Aberdeenshire, sleet and snow, upgraded to a red warning from met office. Basically a do nothing day.
  3. Slightly Illegal 👍😂belter Thanks for the info 👍
  4. Slightly off topic, That's a cracking log arch 👍what make and model is that?. You towing it on the road ??.
  5. BBC drop Michael Vaughan as pundit for Ashes series amid racism allegation APPLE.NEWS Michael Vaughan has been removed from the BBC’s Test Match Special coverage of the Ashes this winter after allegations that... Not like the BBC when it comes to racial issues or allegations !! , guilty until proven innocent it seems, shame the same rationale had not been applied over the years with the amount of sex offenders they turned a blind eye too.
  6. Not mine but might be a good buy for somebody.
  7. Might have to bash one out tonight watching deep water horizon eh. jokes aside you seen Chris Lemons incident on Last Breath ??
  8. Not all the time but there is no shortage of intellect out there. The things to remember is decisions are made by teams and follow a pattern etc ie hiras or hazops to try and think out any possible **************** ups rather just running with what seems like a good idea.
  9. Going out of procedures tends to be taboo with people as you know bud. Lack of intellect 🤮maybe people should understand one wrong move based upon a flawed idea or suggestion can be disastrous, the level of safety out there is something people don’t get unless you’re involved.

  11. Wouldn’t have known there was even one on 🤷‍♂️, but after a quick google search I’ll have to say I’m impressed sir 👍👍much appreciated especially at a 1/4 of the price.
  12. Did think of that and easy to get but looking for something a bit more robust and permanently fixed.
  13. I don’t have any but I’m in the process of putting the parts together to make a blade lube system similar to the cooks set up and these fit the bill.
  14. Hi Just wondering if anyone has any of these kicking about spare. No doubt well made but certainly pricey. Happy to look at alternatives that would do the same job. cheers
  15. Yeah the replacement ones when they wear out are in two halves ( the head has noticeably more movement on the uprights when they get worn) . The devils vomit and building a sawmill probs ain’t the best combo 👍
  16. Are the guides 1 piece or 2 I know the replacement ones are 2 piece to allow them to be fitted whilst mill is built. We took the retaining plates off and warmed the plastic guides up plus a bit of lube then slid them on and refitted the retaining plates. Fiddly but doable although easier with assistance.
  17. I’m in Glasgow right now I’ve had a tits full of cop 26 and the behaviour of the police and so called global elite that are here right now. I’ve read the posts on that subject. It’s good your moving onto something even bigger and more worrying for you.
  18. I’ll take the 130 if you upgrade 😀👍
  19. Not quite sure how it’s a laughing emoji moment but if you think it’s funny hundreds of thousands of people are having to take to streets in order to protect their livelihoods and way of life then I guess that sums you up.
  20. Global priorities?? I thought we were supposed to be in the midst of a global pandemic or was that yesterday’s scare story. Honest 42 I think if MSM gave you a pint of horse piss and said it was lager you’d swallow it and convince yourself it was Carlsberg.
  21. Tens of thousands of COP26 protesters march in huge climate change rallies APPLE.NEWS Environmental activist Greta Thunberg has branded the COP26 summit in Glasgow a "two-week long celebration of business... Strange that the media covers this yet won’t show hardly anything regarding the hundreds of thousands on the march daily regards covid restrictions and passport mandates.
  22. With hindsight I’d probably sacrifice a little width of cut for the ability to run bigger band wheels and wider stiffer blades.
  23. Go static with bigger band wheels and a wider blade bud 👍
  24. I’ve heard of this zen like state of wide throats and high speed straight cuts Andy 😀
