  1. A recipe for success then 👍
  2. Not me Steve, if anything it should at least put a bit of entertainment into a sofar excruciatingly boring ( and in labours case tightly stage managed “ Campbell style”) affair. I wish I could get away with doing as little as Starmer is doing to succeed.
  3. Your point ?? 🤔yep no point
  4. Excellent so as you say if there’s no evidence it’s a fabricated story 🤷‍♂️what a lying C..T can’t say no more than that.
  5. That’s a lot of people Go back in history from sticks and stones all the way to today. Human Beings are what they are.
  6. He is gonna appeal but that’s neither here nor there. So you agree that evidence should be provided if you are gonna make accusations or claims about somebody, although somehow you seem to have veered off from the initial meds comment. Regardless bacK to spouting lies and BS, I take it with your moral compass now publicly recalibrated you wouldn’t condone such behaviour.
  7. How’s that working out in the UK Time and time again studies have shown that legally held firearms are not used by criminals ?
  8. 100% 👍 The Dunblane tragedy should have never happened if current at the time legislation had been enforced correctly. As for US 🤷‍♂️ As I say never mind the guns what mindset could do such a thing. But just look at London a few days ago yet another drive by random shooting and we have sone of the most stringent gun control legislation in the world.
  9. The mass shooting we see too often nowadays is indeed a sad state of affairs but the question that’s always avoided by the “ gun control lobby” is why ? Firearms controls were virtually nonexistent not that long ago in the USA and the mass shooting phenomenon was yet to be an issue. What is it about the world we live in today that drives someone to commit such an act Solve that puzzle and you are a long way to sorting the issue. My own views as a FAC/ Shotgun and in Scotland Air Weapon certificate holder is that it’s the person should be licensed not so much the firearm , but that’s neither here nor there. Regards the USA and its approach well I admire the guys who defend the 2nd amendment, history has been shown here and in other countries that any form of control is never enough for those in power. Anyway what I wouldn’t do is then try and swing a mass shooting into some form of dig based upon my own political bias. Leaving the incredibly difficult subject of Mass shootings behind and back to Trump as I stated the other day if and it’s a big if Trump has been making unsubstantiated, malicious and false claims then he should indeed be held accountable for them. Let’s face it, who likes a man spouting BS and lies 🤷‍♂️
  10. PR firm is paid £500,000 for just 38 days' work to promote SNP's hated Low Emission Zones WWW-DAILYMAIL-CO-UK.CDN.AMPPROJECT.ORG A PUBLIC relations firm was handed a contract worth an astonishing £508,000 for 38...
  11. Labour offers MPs peerages to step down APPLE.NEWS Labour MPs including Diane Abbott have been offered peerages to stand down and make way for Sir... And remind me what the Labour logo is this time around “ Change “. Doesn’t look like much is going to change at all in reality, mind you maybe this is what labour mean when they talk about reforming the House of Lords 🤔
  12. So Trump has been saying stuff about Biden that is not true or at least he has no evidence or proof of is that what you are saying 🤔. Well quite frankly if that is true then the lying prick deserves everything that he gets. I’m sure most people will agree you can’t just go around making malicious accusations against people without at least some evidence.
  13. Joe Biden 👍
  14. You did eh and the medical report 😜
  15. Well you didn’t get very far with the “ don’t mention Trump” 🤷‍♂️I shouldn’t be suprised at you not answering the question. On a serious note you must be the only person I’ve ever heard say there is no story when it comes to joes obvious mental decline. We won’t even go there on his behaviour in regard little girls eh SP At least Trump likes them to be out of school.
  16. Come on then, do you think he is 100% ok and mentally tip top to be president of the USA and regarding the SOTU address, you saw nothing unusual in his speech, behaviour, demeanour etc ! Try not to mention Trump in your reply. PS Did you actually take the time to read that. 😂 Special counsel alleged Biden couldn't recall personal milestones. His response: 'My memory is fine' APNEWS.COM President Joe Biden is angrily denying claims in a special counsel's report that... There’s some more bed time entertainment for you. Of course it’s all Trumps doing.
  17. 😂😂now now you said what meds not me !! https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Health-Summary-2.16.pdf You wint find the good stuff he had before the SOTU address on there, Hunter probably gets that for him. Definitely got old Joe wired up whatever it was.
  18. Ah my number one fan, I’m starting to think Les might be right. Watch the state of the union address and compare it to any other of his incoherent ramblings, you getting defensive due to your own recollection issues ?
  19. Taking his meds most of the time, I don’t think he’s any idea what he’s been up to neither. Plenty of evidence around of what ( the big man ) he did in the past decades as a politician to expand the Biden family fortune.
  20. Somewhat like Obama did with the Crimea and Clinton’s part in Ukraine relinquishing its Nuclear weapons 🤔. Any idea of the profits involved for the international and US arms industry every time a country joins NATO and has to get its kit up to spec ??. Pretty sure Trump warned the Germans ( and was laughed at) about being reliant on Russia for gas and the same with the European NATO members, ie get your hands in your wealthy pockets and contribute a bit more. We sit here in the UK worrying about utter trivialities whilst in reality we are as woefully prepared as we ever have been to defend ourselves.
  21. Well if it comes to character advice I’m not sure you are the one to give it in any way shape or form. It’s reassuring to know you have everything sussed out 👍👍 Well apart from a couple of minor items on another thread but hey ho, I’d actually say you have a bit in common with old Donald when it comes to personal interpretation of things 🤔
  22. No problem, who would want peace and prosperity after all 🤷‍♂️
  23. You need to get out a bit more
  24. 74 million “ crazies apparently “.
  25. Not really been up to much lately what with work etc and in reality with the fact I literally parked up the new mill after the first few times using it. To say it was a pain in the arse would be an understatement. First of I’ll just say those who are getting along fine with electric Trakmets 👍if you are happy “great”, mine was bought to cut large hardwoods not softwood. Blade speed was ridiculous, running at 1800m/min, combine that with the supplied x cuts which I detest and the result was very very poor cuts bordering on useless in fact, blade diving and losing tension ie heating up, just no consistency at all. On my old Trakmet I could turn the engine RPM down to suit, not ideal as you went out the peak torque curve but it did allow some flexibility. Ended up fitting a VFD with potentiometer ( which in my opinion they should be fitted with as standard) cost including fitting was nearly 4K on top of machine price, and let’s face it Trakmet are not cheap mills anymore. Spent last couple of days testing on DF, Elm and Ash and so far the difference is night and day, I’ve swapped to Woodmizer double hard blades in 4, 7 and 10 degrees. Cut all day today and had zero build up on the blade, no diving or loss of tension etc just consistent repeat cuts. Still a ways to go and hopefully getting down to Triggers to get into some big Oak and Ash which should give it the test I want. If anyone is looking at buying and plans hitting the big hardwoods I’d seriously recommend the VFD option. I mounted the box myself but had a proper sparky wire it in, way above my 3 pin plug skill level. Little update, got a piece of Ash on the mill today not the biggest at 600 mm max but still a decent log and plenty of moisture, had mill turned down to 1300m/min and using a 4 degree double hard, cut lovely with no hassle at all, nice coarse saw dust, wasn’t pushing it hard at all but very pleased with how it just chewed through 👍
