  1. Word salad BS Not bragging just pointing out an actual fact of the post Brexit scenario for myself and the team im currently working with. If you wanted to react or have an issue with something I posted up to one of your pals, reply on that relevant thread not sneaking little wise cracks in elsewhere, mind you there’s a pattern with you doing this but hey Ho 🤷‍♂️Facts 42 that’s what I deal in. As for the two understanding of the situation I supported brexit then and still do now. I’m more than happy for us to be out of the EU corporate cheap labour pool. Hopefully now companies have to train their own people. The irony of listening to Raynor last night complaining about such things 😂. Which thread you ask ? Really 42, you doing the selective memory loss now too.
  2. Don’t be a smug prick every day 42 just let it lie for once. This is how you got your arse handed to you on the other thread. Look up ODIA day rates for a Dive Supervisor and then do some maths. What I stated was fact, if it were pre Brexit myself and the other crew members would probably not be on the job, it would no doubt have been filled by cheaper Eastern European personnel. There’s a lot not right in the UK but there’s plenty that is too.
  3. OK you keep worrying 👍👍let’s hope the UKs 1% can somehow make a difference if we bankrupt ourselves in the process of chasing the net zero holy grail. Get yourself to Beijing and get those Chinese told. In the meantime I’m gonna continue my search for a good low mileage manual VXR8.
  4. Tell it to the Chinese or the Indians 👍. Anyway I thought it was the next pandemic that was gonna do for us all.
  5. If I’d had the chance I should have put a bet on it would be SP first to reply. 😂 Quick question are you employed, self employed or a business owner 🤷‍♂️
  6. 👍 Gets my vote, I’d just like to say we ain’t really on first name terms 😂 Best of luck to old Nige 👍
  7. About as relevant as that pic, funny nonetheless.
  8. The vast majority of those crossing the channel are not desperate.
  9. That question that doesn’t exist you mean 😂 This is a bit like SP and his selective memory loss on another thread.
  10. I’ll send you some tissues. Just a little heads up in regards the job I’m on at the moment. Contract was won by a EU based firm but because it’s inside the 12 mile zone it has to be UK guys doing the work. Prior to Brexit we would have the scenario and often did of this being done by EU guys. So there are winners and losers on both sides, for me and the teams here it’s a sweet 20k a month gig curtesy of the “ idiots as they have been called” who voted to leave the warm safe embrace of our saviours in Brussels.
  11. lol thats one of your little gang out to support you. Eloquent BS as usual. But still no answer as usual Brexit well that’s the democratic process I’m afraid 😂
  12. Really 😂😂The question still stands in regards Farage 🤷‍♂️ Be it eloquently worded or not. Which colossal events that you mention was he responsible for ?. And are you stating that you have never criticised the Brexit decision 🤷‍♂️. I’d think anyone reading this would justifiably presume you are avoiding having to answer.
  13. ? So to the question that was asked.
  14. Ok then, Enlighten us all to what colossal changes that will take generations to fix were you saying he was responsible for ??. So are you saying you’ve never criticised the Brexit decision 🤔
  15. He’s responsible is he ? Still not moved on from the Brexit thing 🤷‍♂️as you are fond of saying “ let it go” . Pretty sure there was a vote on that one.
  16. More than you have ever been able to do eh 🤷‍♂️
  17. You try so hard don’t you SP, did you not check the date on the news article before you got all giddy and fired off. No it’s absolutely the right thread it’s todays news 🤷‍♂️
  18. Let’s see if the BBC and all those who pushed it massively start running this story. Somehow I doubt it. A slow drip feed of info just to get people used to this sort of news will more than likely be what we see.
  19. The amount of red tape and hoops to jump through is insane, had the truck tested and the fitter who did the prep for me and took it in was explaining that it was gonna lose tbe 5th wheel and have a generator permanently fitted. The tester stated it would need to be reclassified as “ wheeled plant” and tested accordingly. Starting to wish I’d never started the process.
  20. I’d like to see Farage in on one of the debates That would put the cat amongst the pigeons 👍
  21. You know mark two heads of the same snake comes to mind.
  22. A recipe for success then 👍
  23. Not me Steve, if anything it should at least put a bit of entertainment into a sofar excruciatingly boring ( and in labours case tightly stage managed “ Campbell style”) affair. I wish I could get away with doing as little as Starmer is doing to succeed.
  24. Your point ?? 🤔yep no point
