  1. Scottish football fans arrive all kilted up with nowhere to go APPLE.NEWS The Tartan Army descends on London today to meet the auld enemy amid criticism that there... You’d have thought that the London mayor might have considered fan zones !!.
  2. I am Les that’s my mates, I’ve still got an 880 and standard Alaskan set up although I must admit that 881 is a cracking tool, Panther still for sale bud.
  3. Some cracking Elm up in Inverness today, 881 and Panther 60 plus a chance to have a play with mates new 500i 👍
  4. Guy I’ve supplied to in past Les, he’s a client whom wants Birch for a particular project 🤷‍♂️
  5. Hi All looking for a bit of advice ref some Birch planks for a customer, he’s wanting a load of 125x25, 125x50 and 100x50 !!. Never had any call for it in the past so looking for some guidance on the price please 👍 cheers Dave
  6. Not even worth getting worked up over bud. Just have to do the best you can and in my case I try and teach a good set of ethics to my kids. I do think the current status quo is as vulnerable as it has been for a long time. Covid has unfortunately shown the powers that be how easy a population can be manipulated and how compliant most will be.
  7. Is that just the current crop or do you mean retrospective justice also ??
  8. Will it even matter Mark Previous ministers etc both red and blue tend to go on and do just fine mate regardless of the shit they leave behind.
  9. China administered total of 824.86 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines as of June 9 APPLE.NEWS China administered about 15.9 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines on June 9, bringing the total... Not much seems to stop the relentless Chinese state, not even the inconvenience of a virus.
  10. Just seen this, might be of use to someone down that area.
  11. Well Les let him who is without sin blah blah you know the rest, I’ll not get into that bud, I did try to refrain but the accusations were getting out of hand. Especially the drugs comments, Steve was undoubtedly right to knock it on the head. Yeah my mate is handy with the TIG etc. That’s him who did the jazzy sign with the Plasma cutter.
  12. Over in Inverness today in between getting a telling off on another part of the forum 🙄picking up the slabs I milled a few days back, definitely the pick of the bunch in the pic 👍, picked up a modified outlet for the mill at the same time.
  13. Mull I’m finding myself agreeing with you more and more. Worrying times
  14. Covid data heading in ‘negative direction’ as Delta variant doubles every nine days, says Ferguson APPLE.NEWS ‘The data is pointing this week in a more negative direction than it was last week’ says top epidemiologist The writing is on the wall it seems especially now that Ferguson is back in the limelight, if it’s not the Indian it will be the Nepalese variant if not then it’s virtually guaranteed to be something else. Soon summer will be over and the autumn/winter flu season will be here 🤷‍♂️ You don’t have to have too vivid an imagination to see where this is going. I don’t think the actions of the odd non mask wearing individual is the cause neither before the usual suspects start to comment.
  15. Mark I’m afraid to say so much has been done under the cover of covid and saving us from the dreaded virus with the support of all the parties, in fact Labour have often wanted more draconian actions so I think trying to make political capital from any of this is pointless, the compliance to some of these actions has been nearly 100% those whom have questioned it have been vilified bud as well you know even on here, Easy to give power very hard to get it back I think we will see going forward.
  16. Hi All Looking to part with a still boxed unused Panther 60 mill. Looking for £500 no vat. cheers
  17. Seriously bud anyone reading these posts might take a slightly different view of it than you imagine. Yeah I know andy and yeah I’ve dealt with him in person face to face so I’m more than capable of making my own judgment but quite frankly there’s a bunch of you on here whom are bordering on obsession when it comes to his views or posts, annoying as it seems to be to you all, people are entitled to an opinion, practice what you preach hit the ignore button, the weather is nice ditch the mask 😷 bollocks to restrictions and go out and enjoy yourselves for Christ sake. I’m pretty sure looking at the data and how far covid is down the causes of death in the UK you will all be safe.
  18. I’m no forestry worker, rather it’s the milling that I partake of but this whole competency thing can rapidly turn into a money generating scheme. In my main line of work I’m trying to keep qualifications up to date for ,CPCS, OPITO, GWO and IMCA a lot of the course content is overlapping but each authority is vying for its own training providers to be used. Current situation with IMCA is I have to do a quarterly online CPD session that started off as voluntary but a year in is now compulsory and surprise surprise comes with a £100 per annum registration fee. You can and I’ve seen it happen be deemed competent to carry out a task on Tuesday but not on Wednesday all because of an expiry date on a bit of paper. Much of it is nothing more than arse covering.

    • NEW

Hi Selling a brand new unused Panther 60 chainsaw mill. Mill has not even been out the box. Looking for £500 no vat.

    £500

    - GB

  21. Already done by myself and the Mrs Mark, not sure if you think I’d not read an article or not aware of its contents. My main point is it’s received virtually zero publicity.
  22. NHS plans to mine patient records is a colossal invasion of privacy – and it won’t stop there APPLE.NEWS The justification for the personal data intrusion is to enhance medical research and improve... Totally unjustified, and finally seeing some publicity.
  23. True enough Les but I figured it’s probably gonna be someone from this part of site if it does sell bud 🤷‍♂️. If it sells fine if not I’m not overly fussed, £170 saving on rrp and still in box unused.
