  1. I can't wait to see your point of view two years in after Brexit, thats if we ever get round to havin a brexit to begin with.. never mind Spain, its tearin away at own political institutions as we speak... LOL look at the Tory Party, dyin to be rid of Borris but no were to turn to get rid of the idiot.. a hostage to brexit..
  2. Please Wolfie, don't let a big fat arse come between us!!!...
  3. You'll have to see Bombardier aircraft manufacturers and ask em if the WTO has helped them in that regards.. I'm sure they're a member of that organisation.. Oh about 6million% tariffs to europe, all they need is slow up our exports and the damage will be done without breaking any rules.. remember, they'll have a bigger stick than us, just as the americans have.. Thats the thing about belonging to a club, much like a trades union, strength in numbers..
  4. Apparently its not the free trade thats at issue with a "no deal", but the reams of red tape that can hold up business if we're out of the Union.. Somethin we can all do without.. What about this oft spoken trade deal with america?.. without the backing of Europe, they'll be able to stick tariffs of 250% if they don't like what they see.. anyone for that sort of trade partnership?..
  5. Brexit has given those in Spain a reason to believe they might get their own independence.. forcing the breakup of Spain. Its now having the effect I warned of, destabilizing parts of Europe... Europe will now make it plain that Britain will get no deal.. its a cliff edge come what may.. thanks Brexit.,.. and those that voted for it...
  6. I do remember saying Brexit would unleash forces in Europe that may get out of control.. David Cameron has a lot to answer for if this descends into anarchy.. Perhaps Borris aught take a look at these scenes and wonder at his own contribution to unfolding events...
  7. Well its obvious Richard Dawkins has read some of the bible, he might of read it all for all I know. but I suspect he's not wasted any time on researching it in any meaningful way.. He's a scientist after all, not a biblical scholar or ancient historian.. In that regards I feel I'm on safe grounds assuming some facts that might or might not be factual..
  8. As a scientists I doubt Richard Dawkins has had any need to research the bible for clues to how it evolved.. He would just assume it to be ancient myths written by dotards who didn't know any better.. In some regards I can't blame him.. still, its an interest I've had and like any interest that catches my attention I want to figure were all the pieces fall into place. moving on a little.. Kim Kardashian wants to do somethin about that big fat arse of hers, its disgusting..
  9. I recon your right in regards a placebo, and like you said if it works for your wife then all's well an good.. but damn, to eat your own placenta thats takin faith in a placebo effect to a whole new level.. LOL, A thought did cross my mind yesterday, not so much about the placebo effect but animal instinct and behavior.. a day or two ago I was talkin about dogs eating their puppies with someone, a friends dog had had pups and one of em was dead, she phoned the vets to explain the situation, the vet advised her leave the dog with the dead pup to grieve in its own special way for a day or so. Well, obviously the dog ate its dead pup.. apparently she was distraught at this turn of events.. though no surprise to the vet I imagine LOL.. Anyway, if your wife(god forbid had a stillbirth) I don't suppose she'd want to eat the bloody child now would she?...
  10. And you sir have nave never had to deal with humor. is it any wonder people are depressed?
  11. Has it ever crossed your mind that animals might want to eat their placenta to be rid of it to avoid rotting flesh where their young are?... Wouldn't want to attract the attention of roaming scavengers would they, nothing to do with the value of meat available to eat... Which brings me to your geographic location, any alligators live nearby? any lions or dangerous black bears?.. Seems to me you've fed your wife her placenta under the false assumption it might do her some good... why I feel it won't do her any harm, at least if your gonna feed it to the poor girl, you could of married it up with some onions an fried the damned thing up..
  12. As someone with a lifelong interest in the subject, I can safely say, and without any doubt that he didn't.. Richard Dawkins is defaulting to consensus, nothing more.. its easier to conform to consensus than do some research, I suspect he never had the time or inclination to research the subject... On the other hand Richard Carrier has a PHD in ancient history and has written many peer reviewed academic publications on the subject, you should look him up..
  13. Ah so you have a couple of Jewish grandparents then?.. maybe one, a quarter Jew then?...or is it an eighth?.. Anyways problems solved.. Just a heads up, Jesus wasn't Jewish, he was invented much the same as Sherlock Holmes was invented, but thats for another day.. Look on the internet for foundation myths, the Jews picked Moses for theirs, the Romans Romulus and Remus..
  14. Your Jewish!!!!!, thought you was a born again god bother-er...
  15. WTF, don't tell me you drank that crap, I mean you fed it to your wife/partner...FFS
  16. What I don't want is slanted news, like on these sites you linked to.. better to sub to a few news commentators on Utube, some from the left some from the right.. For instance, I'm as happy to watch secular talk as I am Ben Shapiro.. Question, why the interest in Israeli politics?....
  17. I'll bet its Kangaroo meat or somethin, I'm sure liddl sells odd ball meats sometimes..
  18. well in an update I read, it said burning wood on fires and stoves would only come into effect on given days, when the air quality is likely to be bad.. I sense some walkback on this one...
  19. Well what do you expect!! as the take up of woodstoves/fires increases it was gonna attract the attention of the environmental brigade.. anyway, I can see the sense of using woodfires if you live outside the suburbs but not if you live in towns or conurbations.. its just askin for trouble down the line.
  20. 11.45, I'd say a whiskey or two, which is fine far as drinkin whiskey goes, but your gonna have to be a bit more subtle if you expect to rope me into a slangin match with you LOL's.. Still, nice try, perhaps tomorrow when I have more time as its about time I made ready for a good nights sleep... and so to bed.. bye
  21. Don't worry Timon, I feel your pain when it comes to Corbyn..
  22. Here an there when I write anythin about the Tories, I just can't help my old feelins risin to the surface and wantin to have a dig at em.. Not that I feel the Tories are full of dirty scum, but theres enough there to make my blood boil whenever I think or write about em in a general way.. Its the same with Corbyn, whenever I think or feel a need to write about him, I tend to want for a cat to strangle..
  23. Do you think 90% of new builds would of been paid for in tax's or borrowing if the Tories were in power in that period?.. if not what your point?..
  24. We agree on that then, that both Labour and Tory are guilty of the same crime.. as to running out of money, had more to do with encouraging growth than anything Labour ever did in regards PFI. remember, grow your economy quicker than your debt and you're on a winner.. both Labour and Tory play the same game in that regards.. like musical chairs, its a matter of luck when the shit hits the fan in regards a downturn.. So to blame labour for mucking it up is a mater of bad luck in regards timing on their part, then again they had a long run so it was gonna happen on their watch at some point...
  25. Only because labour were in power at the time, don't imagine if the Tories stayed in they'd of done any different.. lets not forget, but for John Major opening pandors box the labour party would have had to borrow or tax to build new schools or hospitals at the time..
