  1. Haas works pretty well with zigzag too
  2. That inventor dude is a wee bit scarey
  3. As a business owner arent you?
  4. I never said its a certainty eggs reread my earlier answer,i said economists and politicians agree that prices will rise. Are you trying to be obtuse? Im not a politician nor a economist im simply quoting the experts opinions here and as for the unanswerable question well it is isnt. I cant comment on what could, should or might have been as it didnt happen so its pointless discussing it.
  5. Take it as you like steve,id like to try and gauge what the future holds for my family. Just the way i am
  6. Its an unaswerable question eggs and a pointless one. Economists and politicians can only try to estimate and predict our financial future. I really dont see a point in getting into an argument over a question which has no bearing on our financial future do you? The facts are we are leaving the EU so lets try to predict the outcome of our current and future situation not worry about what could have been.
  7. As said above by mark a 3-5% increase in prices this year on goods bought in from Europe in the post brexit vote. This is only a tremor felt in europe at the shock of the UK wanting too leave. Economists are predicting an increase in prices once Theresa May invokes article 50 and starts the exit process. There are varied predictions depending on which exit strategy our government manages to negotiate europe into giving us but economists and politicians alike agree that a rise in prices are a certainty. For unbias media reporting the BBC and daily mail is best avoided
  8. We havent left Europe yet mark, when we do or when Theresa May decides to im sure an increase in prices will be a certainty
  9. I carry a small bag of iron pyrite (fools gold) in my first aid pouch on my harness,i swear by it,maybe im just superstitious but i read somewhere its good luck to carry it for people with dangerous jobs. The one time i was using the rescue harness as my own was getting lolered i got a kiss from a silky, nowt major just a little slash-bled like a bastard though and ive been lucky enough not to have any accidents since. Some may say this is bollocks etc but it makes me feel a little better knowing its back there. Any of you carry any good luck charms or have any superstitious rituals?
  10. Depends on the TO really some are quite accepting of emails etc but some can be over officious and demand paperwork to be filled in to the letter of the law. If it were me id fill in the paperwork as i know what councils are like, emails can easily get lost in over complicated systems.
  11. I have a ms 200t for sale at the mo ,it runs and cuts well but cuts out on idle after 5 mins or so. I ll post pics tomorrow if your intetested
  12. Yip found it,cheers andy
  13. Anyone know where the ID numbers are on the treemotion light harness? Thanks in advance folks
  14. Joe-just clip the krab onto the....doesnt matter.
  15. Personally, and this is just my opinion-those would get on my tits, whats wrong with the triple actions. Whats next,5 actioned krabs,6 action. Why not just go to welded shut mallions. Not my cup o tea but hey they look lovely in those funky colours eh-another exscuse to overcharge climbers for gear we dont really need
  16. No one will read them unless there's an accident, then they'll go through them with a fine tooth comb
  17. Phone them... they'll never take me alive Ps Im waist anchored on a upright you cant see in the picture
  18. Yeah you did steve but its still a great pic. Is that the 100 odd foot pop?
  19. Were walking in the air... no snowman unfortunatley
  20. Yeah we have site specific risk assesment all our jobs, generic risk assesments just dont cut it in my opinion.
  21. Take her climbing,my wife loved it
  22. 20 ft to the 1st limb by ladders fair do's mick but that still leaves 40-50 ft to ascend on this oak you've used as an example, if your goin to the top our out to prune high laterals-i know id rather climb that 40-50 foot on a zigzag + haas..to hell with the prussik. As for the asbestos joint...i dont know where your gettin your puff mate but theyre pullin your pisser. Ive heard the green stuffs better
  23. Hip thrusting is inefficient in my opinion. We'll agree to differ on this one
  24. Where do you folk get these fat groundies from...
  25. My point is Mick we need to get away from hip thrusting old style climbing as its inefficient and leads to injuries overtime. (Yeah i got carried away on original post)
