  2. If your lookin too run a bigger bar then the 461 would give you that option
  3. You really dont need a big bar to take down big trees as you will know if you've experienced felling bigger trees,to get the best out of a 441 id run a 20 bar on it mate. We use 441's at work and theyre great for medium to large fells and choggin down stems with. We keep a 20 on our 441's. For big work the 66 comes out I think a 25 on a 441 would bog it down although ive never run that size of bar on 441 personally. Just my opinion mate hope it helps
  4. 11.5mm tachyon is the rope i use.Heres a picture of it. Ignore the tree it was too show my boss 😉 Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. Blue tongue, hendra or tachyon with zigzag. Ive no idea what riggin rope we use its pretty rank and well used.Remember to boot the ground fellas testicles for the rope cutting incident
  6. Shots fired...shots fired... Bolam hes callin u a fattie..
  7. Hi ross,Brittanys a beautiful area, your very lucky to work there. If its the 441 id run a 20" bar on that mate.

  11. I ll give you that Seriously though ive done the lanyard hitch and my eye to eyes dont last long, loler usually finishes them with compromised core.
  12. They dont lock up or dont need sinching or fannyin around. They work on all rope types and most diameters. Maybe u are tight...
  13. Im of the same opinion, ive plenty of rope off cuts kickin around the lockup i could use but for loler purposes it is to be replaced by the petzl rope. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. Cheers Timon,i fancied the zillon a while back but plumed for the positioner instead, just didnt fancy payin the money to get the zillon lanyard replaced if it got overly worn.Bit cheeky by petzl imo, grillon was the same if i remember. Like you,my flipline lies practically redundant now but i dont do many big stems that would merit it. I use a 5 meter strop that is always been enough for the trees i encounter. 15. Anyone been using the zillon for a while. Interested in how that holds up.
  16. Your right,by madness i implied energy.
  17. I havent found that steve,i rate the positioner highly,id be interested to hear your problems with the swivel. I dont climb every day though so i dont use it as often as some would.
  18. I see a theme here, cocker=madness! The lady wifes a dog walker with 3 spaniels on her books,2 sprockers and a show cocker. The brother in law has a welsh springer and we used to have a border collie so were well aware of the madness thats about too ensue. Thanks for all your comments She's a little cracker,of course she's mental
  19. Id say pretty much across the board mate,we do like order...no one forms an orderly queue quite like we do Serious answer is no we bleedin hate hse,but theyre here so what can you do
  20. Got the art positioner with the swivel on 5 metre new england dragonfly. As will said its very smooth. You can get a cam for the positioner to use on wirecore flipline
  21. Looks like a arolla pine (pinus cembra). Arollas have leaves born in groups of five if that helps
  22. I still struggle sometimes with the legalities regarding tree's. I can only imagine how it could be a nightmare to navigate if i were a novice.
  23. Yeah she's a pretty big 9 weeks old and has loads of energy... God help us Love her too bits already. Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app
