  2. Never bought any tools from halfords just bits and bobs but if your tools last longer than the window wipers i got(2 sets) then you've won a watch. Hopefully not a halfords watch
  3. I find that not taking anything to do with halfords products really helps. Not helpful i know but ive had issues with halfords stuff, its shite! Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app

  10. Could be theyre closed for the easter weekend. Give thdlem a bell on tuesday
  11. Mine failed a loler at the end of march due to core compression,it felt lumpy basicly. Its the little thimble prussik from the CE lanyard. Being that yours is new id contact them again and swap for another
  12. Pretty poor if this is true. I work for my LA and a while back there was talk of us been put out to tender for private contracts. It was quickly shot down. As for the above...nothing surprises me about councils anymore
  13. I would think it would be in the interests of the estate agents to get some sort of definitive answers from the neighbour regarding the tree and there intent. I wager you wouldnt be the only client viewing the property to voice concern, after all these things can have serious ramifications for those involved.
  14. There wss a thread on this subject just the other day,the art positioner came out as a great product.
  15. Ive used riviera sales on ebay and theyre genuin parts.
  16. Look at this on eBay Genuine Stihl Fuel / Petrol Filler Cap Fits MS 230 pn 0000 350 0533
  17. Local stihl suppliers should carry some stock. Failing that look up mowers online, ive used them for stihl bits and bobs.Ebay can be another that can provide parts.
  18. Stihl fuel and oil caps are notorious for being a pain in the ass,not closing properly or not at all. Sometimes a new cap works, sometimes not. A little circle of cling wrap between the the threads on the fuel resevior and the cap should seal it but as i say they are problematic. Ive had saws with no issues and a couple that played up a lot.
  19. Have you checked the little gauze plate behind the exhaust muffler. It can get bunged up with carbon and gunge if the saw has been run on a rich mixture or idles for excessive periods.Knowing its a 2nd hand saw id check that out. Hope its an easy fix whatever it is mate
  20. 😂😂 you nailed it mate Sent from my SM-G900F using Arbtalk mobile app

  22. Yeah i got the stein scorpius 12.4mm rope couple of weeks back, just a short rope (25m) to try it out. Havent tried it yet though. Its just for small trees, connies and hedges so im gonna run a prussik on it. I ll keep ilu guys posted.
