  3. I find caritools get caught up alot,i much prefer to use old krabs on my harness for my gear.

  7. I kinda get wot your saying,its indemic of our profession i think. We rely,or are convinced by marketing that we NEED,certain pieces of kit to do our job when 20 years ago guys were doin the same job,to the same level with almost none of the kit that we use today.Maybe some skills are dying out because using kit is just easier-or so were led to believe.
  8. Priority for me is breathability,no point in waterproof trousers that make you sweat your bo####ks off and end up soaked inside anyway.

Hey all, Im a kit junkie,cant help it,i like the shiney stuff.I sometimes try and cut down on the kit i carry around and on my harness although there are some items i determine to be essential when climbing.So my question is whats on your harness? What kit couldnt or wouldnt you part with ? Heres mine Miller komet butterfly harness 2 spare triple lock biners 2 double lock biners ( light rigging purposes) 1st aid kit 2x endless slings 1x prussik loop 5meter lanyard Water bottle. Pretty standard stuff....what you got?
  14. See the doc,sounds like CTS to me. Monitor your time on vibrating tools,reduce as nessesary,wear anti vibe gloves-gel ones are best apparently.At night you could wear a splint-kinda like a black velcro strapping on your hand to prevent your tingling.Splints are available on amazon fir couple of £'s.

  16. Weve got a huge hornbeam in one of our parks,it beautiful in early autumn.
  17. Got my id book out,looks more like the common hornbeam,the browned 3 lobed bracts of the fruit confirm it. I salute you sir!
  18. You could be right,i was thinking the hop as it had pendulous hop like clusters of husks,the common hornbeam and has catkins rather than the cluster.
