  2. Maybe the thread in the fuel tank is the issue. Personally ive never had any issues with the stihl caps on any of my machinery.

  6. Ive done both,left fuel in for couple of months and ran some dry-mostly saws if im being honest.I leave the strimmers and blowers with fuel but run the saws dry.I really dont know why but my point is ive never had any issues restarting equipment, possibley if left longer it might be a problem.
  7. Use a ms 261 as a limbing saw,no issues works great.
  8. Haha! Yeah you have to admit stubby, its a step up from a 230 and a decent saw for cutting up logs and the odd job in tbe garden though:biggrin: pro not pto !!!!

  10. I think im gonna go for the pfanner red gloves.They re cheap and several people have recommended them.Plus ive recently got my 1st pair of gladiators-great trousers so maybe pfanner are doin good things.(although there grey gloves didnt last me long)Thanks all for input guys
  11. I cant even imagine an 18" bar on a 660-you ve got to give us a picture of that!
  12. If your going down the stihl route,skip the 241 and maybe look at the 261.Its a pto saw and a decent all rounder and are going second hand around the £250-£350 mark.

  14. Agreed.Also i think saws are a personal thing,when you find that perfect saw,balanced and trustworthy its like an extension of your arm.Only problem is you will have too go through some different saws to find that perfect companion.
  15. Tried the showas enhanced grip,the orange ones. Theyre standard issue at my work.Dont rate em Cheerz anyway mate

  17. Sounds like it was nicked too order to me. Id be thinking who knew it was there in the shed. Bad luck mate,maybe time to find some safe storage place now for that disc cutter before it goes walkibyes aswell

  19. Anyone used the arbortec AT900 xpert gloves,had a friend recommend them,but theyare pricey.
  20. Tried the grey pfanner ones,hands got really sweaty,they didnt last long.
