  1. Does take a while depending on your connection. Tell us about your climbing set up.....
  2. Has to be the only 16 year old I've heard of who needs help on a computer from wrinklies.
  3. Smart dogs those collies. Took a walk along an old railway line with Charlie whilst the employee was grinding.
  4. Nice looking truck Blades. Mine has been in the garage for too long after my poor driving incident. Here's a picture of it to cheer me up, it's back next Friday, huzzah!
  5. I've said it before and I'll say it again. Say ibrahimovic comes to Manchester (city or United) and earns 200k a week for a two year contract. He will pay at least half in income tax, approximately 10 million in tax straight into the exchequer.
  6. http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/chainsaws/87609-stihl-1106-thread-contra-070-090-a.html This should help.
  7. Didn't know that, here in France my Stihl franchise has a full range of Jonsereds strangely.
  8. Good stuff, as usual. Was that drumming on the stump out of boredom?
  9. Why do you ask? They're freely available in Europe, or have you seen them dirt cheap over there?
  10. Man dies after crash involving digger near Rutherglen - BBC News Bbc website.
  11. Cs2253 according to the test, same engine.
  12. Oh don't mind me, just playing silly buggers on the two threads. Two threads, one useful trunk, one nice one...... I'll get me coat..
  13. If that was nice, I'd be all over it, pity!
  14. Shame! I was looking for one like that only a bit more useful.
  15. Interesting but not surprising, very little to chose between the big two (and a Johnny red) and the Echo not quite there but a good deal of money saved. I've got a 550 btw
  16. Yep, "it's got two chances" as I often say (thereby absolving myself of any blame)
  17. Close one today, put a line up this lime for felling, tensioned it with the tractor. All seeming to be well I put in the gob, I was just starting the back cut and heard some cracking, I dumped the saw and hightailed it out of there, in exactly the spot I was this branch landed with a thump. More tension than was needed it seems!
  18. Tough one, sorry to hear about it.
  19. Steering can be interesting as well.
  20. Just an idea Dave, why not give us your thoughts/opinions on the whole chasing quotes thing, instead of trying to catch people out all the time?
  21. The wood turner thing was a joke btw.
  22. Wood turners Bob, they pay a fortune for it:001_smile:
  23. I'd never really thought about it before you posted the pic. Hard to think of answers. Mick
  24. If you've gone to the effort of driving there, writing and sending a complex quote I'd say you have a reasonable right to politely ask the question. Very often people delay decisions, they've had a few quotes, all in the same ballpark, and are sitting on them. You're the only one to phone up and ask the question that gives them the impetus to "alright, go for it" It's all very well people saying "I'm so busy and brilliant I'd never lower myself to that" if that's true, great.
