£500 is not f.all Besides Dave never used the winch so how do we know it was fully functional, the "mate" was buying a pig in a poke as well. How is what you paid immaterial Dave? You're happy to talk what you sold it for and what you think it was worth.

That was Fawlty Towers Stubs. Anyway, British comedy shows (or the lack thereof) is a bit of a hobby horse of mine. Compared to the US we produce precious little really good comedy these days. I blame a lack of courage and overwillingness to back PC shows like Citizen Khan and Miranda. Note also the unbelievable BBC hyping of the overrated Sherlock. Anyway, The Office.

As it's only one roller it probably isn't the relays. Could be the splines that turn the roller from the hydraulic motor.

On that subject Mark, had a french client last week bring out the beers at 11 o'clock! He was already pissed of course. Stayed sober enough to write the cheque out so live and let live etc.

I used mine (husky) on a oak reduction yesterday, it was a joy, chatting away to the lads and singing. They lined the stuff up and chipped it afterwards. Bliss.

Well my 131 arrived today, very pleased with the power compared to the old ht75. Plus it comes with this harness, which is nice.
