  1. I have followed the whole thing on twitter, pulled in a few high profile comedians in his defence, maybe it is a free speech thing. He has never once made me laugh, funny he ain’t.
  2. Turf tyres don’t have the load carrying capacity, I have used them but under heavy load they are vulnerable.
  3. A grand for 22 of them at 3 meters by half a meter so can get 31 meters across a lawn. I can’t sleep at night when people borrow my stuff, so it’s unlikely to be hired out.
  4. Put the new temporary road into use today, MO was paying its way, turning a two day job into a days work.
  5. And only wear pruning spikes, more pro looking.
  6. If it is as pokey as a 661 and as light as a 441 they’ll fly off the shelves. I will certainly get one.
  7. Which is why I’ve just taken delivery of 22 of these, temporary road for lawns.
  8. All of those problems are easily circumnavigated. Sort your own saws out tension wise, get him to stack the brush, do your own lowering etc. Your assertion that two climbers should make enough is true, but if there’s only a certain sum on the job, then (financially) two is too many.
  9. It’s easy enough to say that, but when you start out on your own you’re only likely to get jobs on price, not on your impressive reputation or equipment. There won’t be enough fat on the job to fork out £150 to an all singing and dancing climber to drag brash across a lawn, then £70 on mate from the pub makes good sense.
  10. Gunshots in Riyadh, turned out to be nothing, Twitter chatter.
  11. One can debate about the merit of work like that, but that’s a job well done nevertheless.
  12. Fascinating stuff I’m sure.....?‍♀️ Something funny is happening in Saudi ATM...
  13. S’right, the 201t is super reliable, and the new electronic ignition version is a peach, power right through the rev range.
  14. It was clearly a decent size tree judging by the trunk, all dismantled in what looks like a tight space without issue till the fell. Somebody knew what they were doing. A mistake was made, insurance companies will be contacted.
  15. They can live a long time so if it were me I’d be looking to ready them for release back to the wild. Although they will be vulnerable to attack from wild ones. Don’t make them pets, feed them and walk away, then maybe release them gradually. Dont ask me how to do it though, just my thoughts mind.
  16. *garner (been down the pub, got a bit steamed, thought I’d have a pop at someone using the wrong word on the internet:))
  17. I feel a bit sorry for the guy, this is all on the FB tree sites.
  18. No real detail. One car looks to be lightly damaged. Put down the pitchforks and flaming torches.
  19. You lost your kid at a campsite?
