I have read on here (somewhere) that if it could be shown that he had received adequate training, ie been shown by an experienced operator, and paperwork was in place ( a log of what was shown, date and his signature etc. it was ok.

Playing devil’s advocate. It’s clear to them that this is a bit more than a shed to store a few bits and bobs for diy etc. They must know your business, whether by your neighbour or not. They are very small gardens (I had a look on Google earth) It does give it a bit of an air of an industrial estate. Just trying to give a balanced view.

I wouldn’t go as far as that, or dismiss any generation as better or worse than the last. But there is no doubt in my mind that food poverty or whatever you call it in the UK has reduced in a generation.

And I was 14, not going to start a Yorkshireman sketch type thing but these days the vast majority of people in the UK have much easier lives than then, and fuller stomachs I would add.

Ok, it’s just sometimes I wonder if people réalisé how much easier the average persons life in the UK is compared to 40 years ago.

I quite like him ‘cos he’s posh but doesn’t hide it or pretend to be down with the kids or anything. But that’s just a superficial thing.
