  1. Kevin... The largest, most aggressive and, by a country mile, the most killingist terrorist organisation in the world today is the US military.
  2. Those TW150s still fetch very good money, I was very happy with what Adam Redhead gave me for my 2004 machine a couple of years back. I only used a Quadchip once and was very impressed.
  3. Borrow the money, a decent chipper is an absolute must.
  4. Just watched the bbc news that had some more detailed insight. She was headed straight for the top table, where the CotE was and the Governor of the BoE. He stopped her reaching the most important people in the room. It’s bullshit, pure and simple. Still, under the bus he’ll go...
  5. Yes, 200 metres from a hunt hut, they butcher the carcass, I think foxes or buzzards nick the residues. Found in the corner of our field.
  6. I don’t really dig the whole mushroom/owl stuff. But that’s a different league, superb.
  7. Anvil condition seems important on round blades. Bargain machines.
  8. It’s the sensor that detects when the wheel loses speed and stops the rollers. By memory on the TWs it’s at 5 o’clock on the pulley wheel, looking from the engine end.
  9. Give us your definition of ‘a bit of a blag’ Then, this thing that everyone (which by definition includes you ) has done.
  10. You literally wrote ‘everyone’s done it’
  11. I’ll bet the sensor on the flywheel has been reset badly. Check belt tension as well.
  12. Back in the 80s loads of guys I knew (and me) did casual work while we were claiming dole. Lotta high horsin’ going on.
  13. No doubt in tree work the panels are vulnerable, especially the front one under the boom. Most of my mudguards have cracks, but it’s no big deal. I couldn’t get quick delivery of the Tobroco or I might have had one. You will dent the metal panels just as easily I guess.
  14. Very Hollywood, if I was deliberately critical (which I guess is the point) locking the public into the video straight away is an odd touch. Clearly a pro outfit Al, capable of big work, which is the point I guess.
  15. Too much repeating, too many words for my tastes. But does the job.
  16. I like a simple site. A Services page, to give more of an idea of what LI forestry means would help. Overall, very good.
  17. Remember it well, at the time it was just about the only programme on the telly about country pursuits.
