Well, in fairness it was £800 which was a good price. I never saw it though, it was stored at my nephew’s, who lives oop north. He is a climber, he took a shine to it and paid me what I paid Alex.

S’pose. Still think 2k is fair. 2.5 with no VAT actually means you’re paying the VAT, just unknowingly to my mind.

£3199 ex Vat. So (assuming your VAT registered) £700 quid more that a 10 year old one. I think I’d find the 700 quid somewhere and get a brand new one. Dunno if the second hand one had a visor plate.

There was a 10 year old GRCS up for sale on a few FB sites a week or so ago. Bloke wanted £2500, they’re £3250 new! He probably didn’t pay much more than his asking price for it 10 years ago.

It’s basically rubbish, a self sown weed of a tree. Not massive roots. Take it out if it’s yours, to allay your worries, but I’d say you’ve nothing to worry about.
