  1. I recently had a lad come and cut for me for 3 days, and he has a massive Instagram following of circa 14k. He was absolutely brilliant! Didn’t put a single tree down incorrectly, had sharp saws and plenty fuel. Was polite to customers and public alike. Turned up on time, in the place agreed and did a superb job. He was worth every penny he got paid and then some. No bullshit attitude or anything, just a top fella who has a hellish popular account. On Instagram as @choppa_tom
  2. I spent a while fitting some mega light bars to my Logbullets. Then realised I don’t like working in the dark!
  3. And the good Lord (John) said “let there be light! Especially once the clocks change!” 😂🤣😁
  4. I find it’s easier to knock over a standing stem/pole with a large gob, less smacking and faffing wedges about. Used it loads in arb. In thinnings work my favoured felling cut is just the back cut!
  5. I’ve no doubt it’ll survive, I just hate the fact I’ll have to drive passed it weekly and watch it turn into a giant cluster**************** that offends my eyes!
  6. I had a go with one of these recently, and I was very impressed. And I am a Husqvarna man through and through!
  7. The Richmond tree massacre continues!
  8. I'm just there for extraction, the felling and processing is not my department! 😉
  9. I'll get it in now, remember this and you'll go far.... Keep your stumps low! 😁
  10. Correct. 10 points to Gryffindor!
  11. Something a bit different today! Birch bundles off to become horse jumps. When I first spoke to the chap doing the job, he said he was hoping for 500-1000 a day. I bawked, but actually I think I moved about 300 perhaps, in a few hours so the initial target is achievable! Bed extension coming into its own today.
  12. Not too bad mate. Has developed an oil leak from somewhere, but nothing to worry about just yet! I had her working on this job, and she didn't miss a beat. Just clicked onto 800 hours on the clock.
  13. These are just for you @Big J 😁 Another awful day at the office, its really hard to find the motivation to keep going sometimes 🤣
  14. Good arrows Don!
  15. I can't convey enough how gentle I am when driving. It all stems from the nasty fishtailing incident I had. I was very steady before then, even more so now! The thing is, these trouble started out of nowhere. I've used the trailer without fault for over 2 years. The Logbullet hasn't changed weight magically overnight. The heat is on the hubs, and the central part of the wheel where the wheels studs locate. It's very hot to touch.
  16. I'm a very caution driver, slow and steady! Use my gearbox to slow down where possible, and try to avoid heavy braking. Funnily enough, when I initially had the problem I borrowed a mates 16ft twin axle trailer. One wheel get very hot on that too!
  17. When we replaced the damper we checked it, seemed fine.
  18. Few from the last few days. It's a hard life 😁
  19. I'll get a snap, but it runs level and nicely flat overall.
  20. New damper fitted this morning. They kindly gave it to me for cost price, but the same god dam problem persists. I have had 2 independent Ifor Williams dealers go over the whole brake system and they can't find fault. Hopefully the trailer will go up in flames soon so the issue is over 🤣🙈😂
  21. I have that very kit fitted 👍🏻
  22. Latest update! So I have absolutely zero time to look into this myself, I’m flat out busy, with a young family at home. And now it’s bloody dark so early, I have even less time! I decided to take it into a different local dealer, with a hope they can sort it. Dropped off on Monday, picked up today and £80 worse off for doing so, low and behold…… it’s worse than it was before! 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ So that’s two dealers who have both stripped all the brakes, checked everything else and assured me they are working as they should be. Which leads me back to my initial thought that it was the damper in the coupling causing issue. Both times it’s been at dealers it’s not had weight on. So tomorrow I’m driving down with the Logbullet on the back so they can see first hand what the temperature of the hubs is like. Also it might be easier to see what’s causing issues when weight is on. I’ll be mightily pissed off if it is the damper, mainly with myself, but pissed off nonetheless!
  23. Look up Dan at MediArb 👍🏻
  24. I have a pair. I found them warm in the summer compared to my Solidur Infinity Trousers. I wear them now when I'm forwarding but might need to use a saw on occasion throughout the day. Great build quality overall, I like them. Long in the leg I found which I like.
  25. 100% get the heated handles!
