  4. Thanks I figured the 180/135 would also make useable second saw with a normal bar and chain
  5. I make a bunch of spoons, if anybody around kent fancys some tips or wants to get a spoon club going I'm in for that.
  6. Trying to get some savings by for a carving set up. Trying to figure out the choice of a small stihl or husky, then change bar,chain and sprocket or buy the stihl ms150c The way I see it the 150c is around £580 ready to go and the others are at least £200 then £150 of bar, chain and sprocket? So many shiny tools to buy.

  10. Get some extra and get the air steams. Great boots and after 5 mins of wearing they get even better, not to heavy for all day and pretty grippy.
  11. It's true I can make between 1000-1500 bowls a year and wood is part of everyday life for me, now I have started felling timber it's even better.
  12. Bar came today which is super quick. Friendly FedEx delivery guy and now to get it on NAND cutting. Thanks Rob

  15. Doing diy trying to get the house ready to sell, got a day of plastering and tip runs tomorrow but may be allowed out to the shed to sharpen the saws up

  20. Turn em wet and let em dry. Soon you will on the polelathe thing.
  21. Green turned bowls give the best shape once dry and warped. Those are real nice looking bowls sir.
  22. I still can't afford a truck so this little guy is doing me well. Once the street tyres are worn out I'll be putting some ATs on and doing a simple lift. Gets most places and also makes a comfy driver and doesn't tow to badly.
  23. Be quite easy to hook up a small solar trickle charger into a car battery and run a 12v light. Also maybe think about wildlife cameras that are motion triggered.
