  1. Tis snowing ❄. Six foot would do nicely.
  2. Put your prices up. This will reduce the numbers in the loyal customer club, thus increasing the life span of your current stock. More moneys in the bank for more wood next year.
  3. Cut the rounds in half so they are easier too handle
  4. Well I put three seasoned logs in a bucket of water and left them submerged all day, approx 10 hours. Birch, ash and larch. Took them out of the water and split them. The outside of the log was wet, but the rest was bone dry. No water penetration at all, not even on the end grain.

  8. Tie a pig too the tree. Horses hate pigs
  9. Two 45 gallon drums, one on top of the other. You can buy the kit for joining them, flue, door etc off ebay. Loads of them on youtube
  10. What quantity ideally do you want on a pallet?
  11. how many bags you after?
  12. Looks like processor grade timber to me. The sheet covering the skips will be breathable and let the moisture out the top.
  13. Interesting. How many kilo watts us your boiler?
  14. Iam interested in the single phase unit, possibly a new battery box unit, to run security lights and cctv overnight.
  15. Wood isn't a sponge. If I didn't do deliveries on rainy days, I would of gone out of,business many years ago
  16. JCB seems to be at it aswell. [ame] [/ame] Clever stuff I have no mains power in my yard, so this is ideal for night light/security
  17. [ame] [/ame]
  18. Does anyone run one, or have any experience of them? Seen a write up in a construction magazine, and they seem to be very impressive. Any thoughts or comments? Cheers in advance.
  19. tonne builders bags?
  20. Surprised they used the word "approx" I was told by trading standards, a few years ago now, that there was no such thing as an approximate weight. At least its in black and white, should weights and measures ever come through the gate.
  21. Thanks. Which make and model do you have? So many to choose from
