  4. I sent a 150kg pallet to Italy, and it cost £120 plus VAT, if that helps pallet dimensions of 1.2m L x 1m W x 0.75m H, 150kg, and the pallet being stackable
  5. Do you know how much extra weight the solid sides added?

  16. I run a kindlet, and cant really fault it. Had it 5 years no with no major issues. I found cutting up pallets and offcuts too time consuming, so just use round timber now. I pick all the nice straight sticks out of the 3m chip pile and put them through the firewood processor to get them down to 6 inches
  17. Ok, makes sense. Impressive, no doubt about it.
  18. Why not go for an automated boiler?
  19. What does a stacked crate equate to in loose logs? 1.5 cubic meters?
  20. GroundMatz | Ground Protection Mats | Temporary Trackway
  21. Oh ok, thanks, it was a long time ago. Diesel burns slower and cooler. Kero burns faster but hotter. Kero had to be at least 5p cheaper to make it more cost effective.
  22. What's the energy per litre for red diesel? If I remember, it burns hotter but quicker than kero, which burnt slower and cooler. Kero had to be at least 5p cheaper to make it worth while. Would you agree with that?
  23. does anyone use a diesel burner to heat the kiln? surely less investment, no down time to refuel etc, and a constant 24 hour heat
