  2. BSW obviously believe in briquettes anyway
  3. Ok. Any more information would be much appreciated
  4. Open circuit hydraulics
  5. New issue, as recently upgraded my tractor. Tractor puts out 110 litres a minute. Manual spools, only one seems to be adjustable. Previous tractor put out 85 litres a minute
  6. One spool is adjustable, I will need to try it screwed right down.
  7. Yes did that, all new, all matching manufacturers
  8. The feed hose is still popping out. Tried everything suggested. Anybody?
  9. A very good machine. Wont be many of those in the UK.
  10. I think its flow fit who sells log splitter kits, ram, valve engine etc. Worth a look for ideas

  13. No, that's not true
  14. What's the problem, lack of standing timber coming on the market, or lack of demand from the mills?
  15. I'll change the fitting on Monday, see if that works
  16. Did you consider an electric PTO drive?
  17. She's still popping out. Returning to the tank now and not through the spool. Fitted a new male quick release coupling, incase it was worn. If the flow rate from the tractor is too high, could this be the problem?
  18. Pellets are now coming in from the Baltics with BSL accreditation. It has been rumoured Verdo are ceasing production of pellets at Grangemouth and are importing only. They are only taking in enough round wood to do them untill the end of the year.
  19. Ok thanks I will try tomorrow and let you know.
  20. So I have two hydraulic hoses plugged into the back of the tractor, one flow one return, to work my timber crane. Every so often the flow hose pops out of the tractor and the crane instantly stops working. Sometimes the lever for activating the spool, inside the tractor, disengages and sometimes it doesn't, when the hose pops out. Any thoughts much appreciated.
  21. I have a Bandit Beast 1680 for sale Diesel engine, can handle just over 20 inches
  22. Pellets imported from Estonia are a BSL accredited fuel, have I missed something?? Surely these have a huge carbon footprint?
  23. Recip saw
