  1. Supermarios mate might come and collect it. He was advertising on here afew weeks back. I forget the company name, someone else may remember......
  2. The issue is, when it rains some of your logs will get wet. If its windy and raining alot of your logs will get wet
  3. Where in the world are you? Are you looking for British firewood or that imported stuff?
  4. I was digging deep looking for the pms. Got it now, thanks
  5. If i click whos online from the quick links at the very bottom of the page, past all the ads, it says the page doesnt exist. I cant find my pms either, but that could be me and not the site
  6. 6 years of stress and i probably use that one the most. The seal on the saw motor started leaking aswell, so that's off getting reasealed. Not bad really considering its in daily use.
  7. How much are you paying for brash and chip?
  8. I have 6 x 4ft boxes full of processor debris from a screening drum available if anyones interested, ideal fodder for a large boiler. North East Scotland
  9. STANDARD RIDDLE grizzley soil screener tipper grab crusher digger skip recycle | eBay Maybe you could use that, or similar, and have it sitti g high enough so that you can reverse your truck up too it, and load direct. The screenin drums are good coming straight off the firewood processor, but slow when your trying to push 2 or 3 cubic metres through in one go.
  10. This one looks quite compact FIREWOOD CLEANER | eBay
  11. Do you use a rotating switch on your joystick to operate the rotator on the Engcon? And a toggle switch to operate a grab? Or how does that work? 101 and questions
  12. What controls do you use on your fixed grabs? For the rotation and opening closing?
  13. Cheers, for that. Do you get that from approved hydraulics?
  14. Which selector grab and rotator would you recommend for an 8 tonne machine? Ive got a could of jobs coming up where i have to separate different materials on site
  15. Are the 3.2 engines any better? Problem is, which pick up is better? Defo not an Issuzu after what happened with woodworks
  16. Ive a 2.2 15 plate with 60k on the clock. From day one it gave electrical problems and ended up getting new wrining looms etc, fine. At 40k it needed a new fuel pump and now every few thousand miles it dies. Cuts out and splutters then cuts out again. If you leave it for half an hour or so it goes fine again. Also lost a chunk of paint down at the front mud flap the other day. Fix Or Repair Daily
  17. A vertical splitter with a remote controlled winch is king in my opinion. I opted for a Uniforest from Riko and i cant fault it when splitting oversized into 1m billets. On the processor front, my hakki pilke can produce 600mm long logs, which is longer than most. I often bundle these and get two bundles on a standard pallet, which is nice for rehandling.
