  1. It's the opposite for me. I prefer the distel or knut depending on rope dia. The distel can be kept compact and always grabs.
  2. Short clip of my grey fergie: [ame] [/ame]
  3. CE = China Export
  4. Another vote for apricot (Prunus armeniaca)
  5. Try agriline
  6. Nope, same as any other chain. Roundfile and 30/35 degree angle.
  7. enamel paint with owatrol oil mixed in it (anti-rust).
  8. Ford FE big block v8. 390 (6.4 litre) and 428 (7 litre), the sound gives me goosebumps.
  9. Andy cobb, Igland can supply new sprockets. Igland can also supply winch cradles/chairs, complete with quick attach triangle, chain guard, chain sprocket and chain tensioner.
  10. You can adjust the carb by bending the plate that is pushing the float needle and membrane. It is located right under the membrane. Bend it up/out towards the membrane will increase the fuel flow.
  11. Here's an alternative to Ochsenkopf, Gransfors and Fiskars: Øyo/Oeyo (Made in Norway) https://www.oeyo.no/produktkategori/friluft/ https://www.oeyo.no/shop/friluft/kloyvslegge/
  12. Use rapeseed oil. Better for the environment, better for you, cheaper, doesn't clog up like the bio oil from ex. Stihl and is thinner than regular bar oil. Remains liquid down to -20 C.
  13. I have been using Willans T22/2 SB harness for a while now and find it very comfortable. The sliding bar makes it easy to maneuver around in the canopy. It is solidly made and I don't think that I'll ever be able to wear it out.
  14. You should take a look at the cranes from Kranman in Sweden. Kranar - Kranman
  15. Donaghy Cougar CE Blue 11,7mm is what I use.
  16. Kubota b7100 hst with wallenstein bx 42s. I will try to find a picture of the combo.
  17. I have been using a 16 hp Kubota tractor to power a 6" wood chipper without any difficulties. So 26 hp will do just fine.
  18. Husqvarna 372, Jonsered 2172 or Dolmar 7910 for bar sizes up to 24". Go for a 90cc if you are going to be using longer bars than 24".
  19. What will you be using the saw for? Felling, limbing, milling, combination?
  20. I took the ISA certified arborist exam this week at a testing center. I have read several places that the tests have been dumbed down over the years. I didn't find the test particularly easy.
  21. One of my customers prefer 3/8" (15") over .325 on his Husky 550 xpg.
  22. Kranman and Farma sell suitable cranes of high quality that can be mounted on a small forwarder.
