That's one reason why it's worth paying proper money to have it done! There's no quicker way to make yourself look stupid than spelling mistakes on websites and quotes/invoices etc

The actual mill is run by 2 guys. I've watched them do it. One guy cutting the other guy fetching/taking away with loader. I suppose sometimes one of the woodworkers will come and help lift with any big boards. The bandsaw does work fast though. The slide thing lifts wood somehow to get forklift under I think.

Lincoln which probably does not help you much. He does do it via phone/email etc though. You probably want someone closer to home if your not up here but you do need to get someone to be aiming it at ranking on Google as much if not more than visual appeal.(it does need to look right though obviously)

A friend of mine does it as one of his business's. He aims for a nice looking site. But more importantly he aims for getting your site up in the ranking so you are near the top on Google etc.

There is a big timber yard near me and the machines they have in there are unbelievable . The stuff they turn out is beautiful. They do all sorts of gates, fencing, timber framed buildings. They will make anything you ask for. They have been trading since 1890 or thereabouts though. I bet some of the machines have been there 50 years or more. Real big old heavy stuff.

Presumably with your new mill you are making saving on staff costs? Therefore moving the expense to machines not men.

Revenue. It was bloody awkward as you were essentially having to guess how busy you were going to be a month in advance. Some weeks you would blow it by 10% but others it was down at 15%. And they also used to change allowance as it pleased them! But it averaged at 21% normally

I used to manage a pub with my ex. Wage percentage had to average over the year to 21%(not including managers wage) that was for a brewery owned pub. Food was sold at 3.5 times cost.

Top handled saws do have side grips as well don't they? Serious question as I've never seen one close up

Just register as a partnership/LTD and got VAT as and when needed. I would probably go LTD straight away to distance myself from it a bit. And VAT as soon as it makes sense.

If they paid for all equipment they would be self employed or sub contracting wouldn't they? The equipment and responsibility is why business owners make more money.

Disagree. If the guy wants to pay fine let him . I would still want crediting on both video and website.

Could you not get him to credit you on the video and on the webpage? That should be good for your reputation.

I work in 3 church yards maintains grass and hedges etc. I think they are great no one bothers you. you just go and do what you need to do when it suits you. Small issue is it takes about 6-7 weeks to get paid as they seem to have bi monthly meetings and cheques need 2 signatures.

The battery on my l200 ran flat last Christmas got it checked out. The guy did not even get the tester out as he took one look and the battery was only half full. Topped up and went for a 10 mile or so run in it. It worked fine after so I think I was lucky it was no knackered

The hydro 4 wheeler is different and it's not going to wear like the roller version. The roller has only 1 speed really as it has slow revs for warm up the engine and then fast for actually mowing that's what I'm told the 2 setting are for anyway.😬😬 Just making sure there are no leaks in hydro system is the thing to look for. Maybe change the hydro oil?

Another thing with the big Honda is to ensure the drive Spring/cable arrangement is properly adjusted as if it's not the dog teeth in the gearbox wear causing gearbox failure It's the same on the other kaaz clones . I've got the lawnflite version. Nearly identical just slightly different handles etc
