  1. My grasp of English must be failing me! So can I ask again what you are trying to achieve in a couple of sentences?
  2. I've read both links and the ones about the burls. The burl thing is obviously wrong but are you trying to keep everyone out of the woods completely? I still don't understand how the Internet is at fault. The $1000 guy is meaningless for all we know it's you or even no one? In a few words can you explain what you are trying to achieve please?
  3. It's not summer grade diesel is it?
  4. That's a shame! Are you going to bother fixing it up?
  5. Don't know much about Vikings other than the big expensive pro one that had drive issues and is now gone. I suppose you need to be looking how strong wheels and the deck is if going up and down steps. Which Honda have you got that's broken and what's up with it?
  6. You would hope that lawnflite have hot it right!!! 47 is still a lot to drag up steps. I've got one like that and I use a 18 inch Honda izy at about 35kg and that feels like hard work.
  7. True but the premiums start to rise again as you get past 70 so that it telling as well.(my dad 72 now and the last 2 years prices have risen more than just inflation)
  8. Thanks for that garden kit. I'm thinking about the bigger one vs the smaller one and looking at the link you gave me I see the larger one is only a bit heavier. What price for the bigger one? And is it worth the extra weight? And would you be able to post me one:-)
  9. Free business banking is one other benefit and I think free legal advice for contracts etc
  10. Hi thanks for that. I can't seem to find out if they come with a double harness? I need the anti vibe as its carried and used for hours at a time. Is that the smaller of the 2 with the anti vibe?
  11. I'm more interested in the anti vibe than outright power as its for strimming round street furniture not heavy brush cutting. I've got access to a flail for any heavy going stuff!
  12. Yes I'm leaning towards the stihl. Just can't decide if the stihl is worth twice the money?
  13. Hi all I'm looking at getting a new Brushcutter this year and I've stumbled across some stiga models with Kawasaki engines and the anti vibe just wondering if anyone had used one? Thanks in advance
  14. Talking of mowers have you got any etesias in at the minute looking for a pro 46 I think
  15. Get the revs checked when you buy it. No doubt they will be set fairly low. I'd keep revs down for at least a few weeks if not the whole warranty period then after that I'd be turning it up!
  16. I'd check oil level is right and check for any obvious leaks. If no leaks appear run on Rickover for a bit and the light may go out. It can take a while got the computer to realise you've topped oil up. Do get a mechanic to check it out though!

Another way of looking at it is how much you need to be taking in a week to cover costs including paying yourself and some profit. Split into 32 or so hours as you will have travel time to consider as well. That will give you an idea. Make sure to add all costs. insurance etc need to be accounted for. It's an eye opener
  18. Oh ok didn't know that mines the 21 inch model
  19. Not tried it on the lawnflite yet as I've not put the kit on yet. But I know it works on my Honda mowers so no reason to think it won't on this
  20. No you fit the upper blade and insert/ take out the plug. That's the lawnflite version anyway

You can only charge what the local economy can sustain
  22. Yes but remember with tipper conversion it's easy to overload.
  23. 😂😂😂😂 I'm fed up with it if I'm honest. I know it sounds bad to complain about earning money.... But when the grass cutting season over runs like it has this time it throws everything else out of sync. I still have hedges to cut which should have been done ages ago. Then normal winter stuff gets pushed back. It will be March soon and the whole thing start again!
  24. Has he actually told you this? If not have a chat with him it's surprising what you may get out of him if you show you are willing to learn!
