  1. Presumably up some ramps though I would not like to try it! Also it would have to be a small ride on as the load beds are not that big on pickups
  2. I've got a sub 750 trailer with no brakes on it and even pulling with the pick up you can feel it pushing you down hill. The big trailer twin axle braked is much better as even when it's got 2 tonne on it you can feel it pulling you back when it's brakes kick in. Get the licence it will be worth it. I hardly use the small trailer now.
  3. Do they replace these things or is it buy a new one?
  4. I think you need to stop worrying about what others charge unless you win every job or lose every job! Price it for your costs and profit.
  5. Oh ok thanks for that I new it has changed somehow because I think they disappeared for a while
  6. Thanks for that do you know who revived atco ?
  7. What I don't understand is why you would want if you don't do it for a living because if it's your living then you should be wanting training as its not a toy
  8. The main reason I would not get one is I have no intension of climbing a tree so I have no need for one my baby ms170 does everything I need😂
  9. Anything big on finance (truck etc) I like to have 6 months payments saved up it gives you some breathing space and stops the worry!
  10. Just to be clear I don't have or want one. But this person said you can't buy a top handle its illegal!
  11. I know it's different but just wanted to be sure I was right before the argument continues 😁 I Did think it was ok not to have the tickets some people I know think otherwise 😬😬😬😬
  12. Thanks but if used commercially without the ticket and something bad happens health and safety would jump down hard on you?
  13. I know it's been done before but to settle an argument elsewhere is it the law to have cs38/39 to use a top handle saw. Sorry for the stupid question Thanks all
  14. As someone who has obviously done this a question if you don't mind? I have 2 part timers working for me and we are just about coping with what we have mainly as I'm still only running one vehicle. Point being is now the time to get a second vehicle and get more help/ try and convince the better of the 2 to come full time? Or just the vehicle for now? As this would itself free time as I would not have to be a glorified taxi as often!
  15. Has hayter not been bought some years ago by a Chinese firm? Or was that atco?
  16. And you can go over the edges of the border without the mower falling in!
  17. Another vote for the lawnflite pro I love mine only gripe is that it's a bit heavy but you get used to it
  18. Thought so I know I don't make that!!!
  19. 60% profit is good isn't it?
  20. Obviously nothing if you do it as normal. I know nothing about it and it I just thought it looked a bit odd him sitting there.😁😁 I just thought it made a professional looking site look bad.
  21. No it really is what I saw it was a tow one attached to a tipper of some kind and he was sat in it looking bored!
  22. A couple of weeks back I saw a lad sitting in the infeed of a chipper waiting for something to do presumably. They had traffic lights etc and a 3 vehicle crew out as it was a big job on a fairly busy road. Not saying the chipper was on but it looked wrong
  23. Like them both if I'm honest says all it needs to apart from contact details and website
