  1. It would be OK here in Lincolnshire too as we don't have any motorways either!
  2. Just out of interest did you get in touch with Toyota UK? You would think head office would know the answer?!
  3. I went the the Land Rover owner show at Peterborough today. They had a bowler doing flying laps round the speedway track. Sounded awesome and was spraying mud everywhere!
  4. On the Stihl they are normally on the opposite side to the grease point The hole to the top right of the spindle on that picture. If it's not original it could go in from the side Edit top left of spindle!!
  5. No one knows yet what will happen. I for one think we have a fairly strong hand as we import more from the eu than we export. On the other hand will they cut their noses off to spite their faces?
  6. I'm peed of with it to be honest non stop since mid February. A winter that's like winter would be great this year!!
  7. Local Stihl dealer will have them in stock I would think. They are fairly generic across the range. As in the one on my ms170 is the same as an fs 85 I'm almost sure. They are about £2
  8. In that case my pickup is allowed to do 70 on the motorway as the police car that followed me will have been equipped with ANPR. Or is that just for the fixed/average speed cameras?
  9. I wonder how many traffic police know the rules? I know I've been followed at 70 or so in the pickup and not been stopped!
  10. I did the speed awareness course a couple of years back. They told me 10mph less than cars as above 2000kg in weight. That was Lincolnshire road safety partnership.
  11. Try a second hand stiga maybe?
  12. What kind of finish do you want? It's only half an acre do you really need a ride on?
  13. Conversely I know that sometimes they come into a new market (to themselves) and go in fairly cheap to test the market.
  14. I do agree that sometimes on here the spelling and grammar is shocking! Not sure how they manage it really with spell checkers these days. I "failed" maths and English (d in both) Because I hated school. Happiness is not what I was talking about. Actually getting these kids engaged in something they are good at was my point. I have proved along with countless other that it is not everything to pass these tests. The 3 Rs can come later if needed. The system is obviously not working as it is so why not change it. My wife is head of sixth form and she thinks it's stupid to keep forcing these kids to do these things as do most of her colleagues.
  15. Or they could be pushed to further excel I their mechanical abilities. People learn far far more if they enjoy it. Another point I think is that school is not for everyone. Why force kids to do maths English until they are 18 if they are never going to pass? Surely that time would be better spent doing something they may be good at and get better at that. I don't see how making them miserable helps at all. Just my opinion
  16. Maybe he works these hours just to pay for the grinder since he seems to be working full time doing welding? Which seems a bit stupid
  17. I'm in Lincoln so not that far away presumably?
  18. I'll ask a mate of mine he's very good a getting hold of stuff like this.
  19. Well it looks a great job you do👍 How many years does it take to get reasonable at it?
  20. I'm really surprised how little needs to be attached to not kill it!
  21. Maybe but the way the press and the Eco nuts go on about roundup you would think the weed killer was the bigger threat😁😁
  22. And that's why suggesting farmers might be suitable custodians of the countryside is like suggesting peadophiles should be consulted on the age of consent! That's like saying the armed forces should be the ones choosing if we should replace trident!
  23. The rotating drum ones are no bad at all for what they cost.
  24. You can buy it on amazon no tickets required
  25. That's a good idea ill pinch I think. Mine will get used 2 or 3 times a year I would think so doing that will save me some space
