  1. I did not read the full articles but it's from us based media. How does it not cover my subject matter? I said people can't afford health care those links say the same(at least on the surface!) How is it squed? Or is the healthcare the best in the same way the gun laws help protect people? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. This http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/31-million-people-cant-afford-healthcare/article/2564763#! Or this https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.thefiscaltimes.com/2016/05/10/Even-Obamacare-29-Million-People-Are-Uninsured-Here-s-Why%3Famp?client=safari Say things aren't brilliant to me
  3. I don't see how a health care system that will refuse treatment if you can't afford mind boggling expensive treatments or not be able to buy insurance to cover yourself (in some cases even if you could afford the premium as I understand it though maybe obamacare has stopped that?)(Pre existing conditions?)can be described as the best in the world! Imo Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. We the workers at least do pay for it through national insurance (it's not set high enough but that's another story) if they made it a higher percentage of salary/ profits then it would have better funding
  5. I may be talking stupid but can you get a shorter pto shaft? Or even cut that one down though I don't know if that's even possible or a good idea!
  6. As long as you don't expect to win 😁
  7. Yes maybe. I lived in china some years ago. I went to a factory with a friend out there they were making fake callaway golf clubs. You could not tell the difference looking at them. I don't think they played quite as well but it makes you wonder Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. Maybe but they only need buy one to really see what they look like. It makes me wonder why they are not perfect at least to look at!
  9. If you give me your email address I can email you a kohler v twin handbook that has wiring diagrams
  10. I hope it never comes back for you! My wife's has got steadily worse over about 8 years to the stage where the attacks can be every 2-3 days but more normally about every 10 days. Not good☹️
  11. My friend who is a consultant gave up the private work as you need to do loads to make it pay and he has young children and did not want to commit too much time. Costs are high if you don't do much (circa £5K insurance to start) But that's not the point. On his department it's staffed by roughly 40% agency nurses who only work agency. The "employed staff" all work overtime on the NHS on their normal contracts. So no idea about "moonlighting" Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. Twice the rate is misleading though isn't it? There is no holiday pay sick pay pension etc on agency work
  13. I understand but my point is if they refused to employ people from any other agency the agency staff would have to go through the NHS agency Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Well they should only employ from it I'm sure the subscriptions would rise rapidly
  15. Just been out for a drink with a doctor friend of mine. Lincoln county hospital has dropped all consultants hours saying they can only work 42 hours a week. So clinical consultations have had to be cancelled to keep in line with the hours. Now waiting times have done the obvious and gone up..... so now they are putting these same consultants on Saturday clinics at £180 per hour as overtime!
  16. She tried tegretol earlier in the year it did stop the pain very well like you say but it turns out she is allergic to it! Gave her a rash like chicken pox! She's on I carbamazepine now which helps to a point. We've got to go to Sheffield in the new year to see a specialist. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Pleased for you as I would not wish it on anyone. When it's bad it makes everyone around her suffer too! I know she can't help it but it's draining on us. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. That rings true for me as well! My wife has suffered from face pain for years. Felt like toothache but after X-rays cat scans etc no joy. Finally found out it's trimenial neuralgia (spelt wrong!) Hopefully operable but it will have been going on for 8 years by march. They have been good since diagnosis but before..... This was after paying to have a private consultation in august this year after getting fed up of waiting. Still glad it worked well for eggs
  19. If you google "pay4later stihl" You will find other dealers offering the same finance deal. Might not be the same prices but you may find a dealer close enough
  20. Even if they got rid of the tax it would still be mega expensive IMO
  21. Is that not what power stations do?
  22. Where that from? I was looking for just a flatbed dropside transit but can't find a price close to the Nissan.
  23. I'm getting one in the new year not for Arb work but I think they are as good as any other flatbed type 3.5 tonne. I'm leasing one as they are cheap as chips (at least I think they are) £145 plus VAT a month. That's for a standard non tipping dropside lwb single cab
  24. One offs are ok as you say. You can make a decent return on them. Also try to price everything by the job not by the hour.
  25. That's why I don't do much domestic stuff now. At least with commercial stuff you can earn a living.
