  1. Agreed you need to let kids make mistakes when they are still young so you can help them correct any mistakes. Then they learn from them before they go out on their own and not have any idea of good and bad choices.
  2. Oh ok It might have been that! I thought it was last year! And that could have been the mtd as this dealer does all sorts of brands (too many and not that good a dealer either but that’s another story!) The twin clip decks seem good. And also seem to have got better. My dad had one of the lower end front deck ride ons which was good but bought a new one last year (not sure which one circa £8k) and it’s even better.
  3. Should also add have a look at the weibang mulchers. They are very good as well. I’ve got the pro 53 and it performs very well. Probably too big and too expensive for a small back garden though
  4. Whoops my mistake I thought I’d seen one in a dealers last year might have been a lawnflite/mtd
  5. You might find a mountfield which is the same for a bit less money. If you can be bothered with twice a week mulching will be fine and the grass will look better for it
  6. Try this website. Never bought filter but have bought other spares from them. https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/
  7. Really? I don’t see how anyone knows what’s coming with it? Doesn’t look that steady to me either though granted it has started rising again but is it just another rise before a fall? Too volatile for me. Good luck to those who risk it though
  8. No it’s not true that everyone is as bad. Buy what he said is true. It’s been tried here too. Moving people from bad council estates into “better” areas. All that happened was the “nice”families moved out and over a couple of years the road turned into the same type of area they were moved out of. I do agree though that these housing estates get a bad name from a small minority of people.
  9. Have the Americans not got a mental health issue with gun ownership so making the problem the same thing?[emoji16]
  10. Not true you don’t have to pay it! Bin your tv and stop paying. Or stop moaning about it Besides it worth it for the planet earth type programmes that would not be made by any other channel
  11. Don’t read/watch the news if you don’t like it. The bbc does do some good tv now and then (not a huge fan of tv) and I’d rather pay the £120(? I’ve no clue how much it is as the boss deals with it!) than have to watch crappy adverts! If I watch anything on other channels I pre record and fast forward the ads!
  12. To add to that. Unless these countries have more employment and a stable economy that can look after its older people, the population will continue to grow as parents see it as a way of being looked after in old age.
  13. Oxfam receive huge amounts of public money, so they should be accountable. https://www.oxfam.org.uk/~/media/Files/OGB/What%20we%20do/About%20us/Plans%20reports%20and%20policies/6651Annual_Report_201415WEB.ashxf
  14. BBC iPlayer
  15. I have a few clients like this too. They always pay when I see them. It’s fine as long as the trust is there. Difficult if you need the money quick I suppose.
  16. Does the average person know when a tree is about to fail? (Excepting massive cracked trunks/limbs!)
  17. As bad as they are zero hours would be better for them as then they would not be charged for days off.
  18. It’s difficult to have much sympathy for these drivers. Yes the contract maybe very one sided but no one forced anyone to sign it. All that said the contact should not really be allowed to be set up in this way.
  19. True but at least it’s not going anywhere but where it’s supposed to. That can be the only reason they call them“eco”
  20. It’s the alleged “self employed” bit that doesn’t sit well with me. If your self employed then you should be able to come and go as you please. If you can’t do as you please regarding working hours ( as in choose which shifts you want to work) then it’s not very self employed is it?
  21. The government has managed to change state workers pensions so that workers pay more to get less out in the end. If they can do that I’m sure they can do as they please with this RHI
  22. I Agree with you except I would say advertise for grass cutting in February, March and April in the same places for the 3 months. It works I’ve done it for years and though I have a full round I like to advertise to try and drop some of the rubbish and get new better paying clients. Besides that I’ll be slowly starting the grass cutting in the next 2-3 weeks a lot is ready just too wet.
  23. Don’t get me wrong I’m not interested in getting big, I was wondering how much the big guys have to do to get really big! Lose the bit of fat I have and tone up is all I want. Just want to do that as efficiently as possible so a mix of weights and cardio seems to be the way forward though could easily be wrong
  24. How much time do you spend lifting each day/week whatever to allow you to get anywhere near these weights. I see from an earlier post you’ve been going for many years but presumably you have to go a lot to keep it up?
