  1. How much payload can these pickups with tippers actually have left? Can’t be much as they only have a tonne or Thereabouts without the tipping gear and sides etc. Put 2 people and tools in what’s left? 500kg?
  2. That’s why you use duck duck as a browser! Good enough to keep your Mrs (or Mum) from seeing what sites you are visiting:)
  3. Not sure on repair it’s not my kind of thing at all. As for a place there are several good quality engineering shops in lincoln that could do the job. worth asking I suppose but with travel, the repair it would probably be expensive.
  4. Some good places here in lincoln that would be able to do the job but maybe a bit far. I would have thought you would find somewhere in derby or if not Nottingham
  5. I tried with the bg86 and was a bit rubbish. The bg700 was good as long as it wasn’t too compacted.
  6. Sexual perversions wasn’t what I was thinking Matelot was using it for if I’m honest his views on that seem clear enough from his posts! More the hard right websites that will no doubt be being monitored by the police/government type people? Just a thought
  7. Ok silly me that’s all right then[emoji106]
  8. Duck duck is a browser designed to stop people tracking what websites you visit! Why would you need that unless you are looking at some ugly stuff?
  9. It also begs the question that if these places are terrible because the people living there are stupid (or insert your own term for the locals) why would we want them here anyway?
  10. He is, but if you were to believe him then the locals over “there” are too stupid to build infrastructure that’s why it’s ok [emoji16]
  11. I keep it like washed fortnightly, but not to that standard it has to be said! Dealer does this mid season and end of season as it goes in for new blades and any bits that need doing in July when I go away for a week. It was fairly dirty this time as I used it 2 weeks ago and it got muddy as ground was sodden. Too wet really but the customer is “always” right as they say! This was a big service this time with new cylinders/blades all round, new ram pins, arm pins bushes etc all new tyres. Well worth it as it looks good and works properly.
  12. Mine has just come back from service this morning Not a stigma but it’s looking ready for the season now[emoji3]
  13. Local garages are between 40 and 60 an hour here. Main dealers I dread to think!
  14. Agreed you need to let kids make mistakes when they are still young so you can help them correct any mistakes. Then they learn from them before they go out on their own and not have any idea of good and bad choices.
  15. Oh ok It might have been that! I thought it was last year! And that could have been the mtd as this dealer does all sorts of brands (too many and not that good a dealer either but that’s another story!) The twin clip decks seem good. And also seem to have got better. My dad had one of the lower end front deck ride ons which was good but bought a new one last year (not sure which one circa £8k) and it’s even better.
  16. Should also add have a look at the weibang mulchers. They are very good as well. I’ve got the pro 53 and it performs very well. Probably too big and too expensive for a small back garden though
  17. Whoops my mistake I thought I’d seen one in a dealers last year might have been a lawnflite/mtd
  18. You might find a mountfield which is the same for a bit less money. If you can be bothered with twice a week mulching will be fine and the grass will look better for it
  19. Try this website. Never bought filter but have bought other spares from them. https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/
  20. Really? I don’t see how anyone knows what’s coming with it? Doesn’t look that steady to me either though granted it has started rising again but is it just another rise before a fall? Too volatile for me. Good luck to those who risk it though
  21. No it’s not true that everyone is as bad. Buy what he said is true. It’s been tried here too. Moving people from bad council estates into “better” areas. All that happened was the “nice”families moved out and over a couple of years the road turned into the same type of area they were moved out of. I do agree though that these housing estates get a bad name from a small minority of people.
  22. Have the Americans not got a mental health issue with gun ownership so making the problem the same thing?[emoji16]
  23. Not true you don’t have to pay it! Bin your tv and stop paying. Or stop moaning about it Besides it worth it for the planet earth type programmes that would not be made by any other channel
  24. Don’t read/watch the news if you don’t like it. The bbc does do some good tv now and then (not a huge fan of tv) and I’d rather pay the £120(? I’ve no clue how much it is as the boss deals with it!) than have to watch crappy adverts! If I watch anything on other channels I pre record and fast forward the ads!
