  1. One less on the road which is all good! Do like them just wouldn’t own one
  2. It’s too cheap people may think they aren’t dry enough! Or just rubbish, not everyone wants things dirt cheap
  3. Only another 30 years being skint to go then[emoji23][emoji23]
  4. Expert opinion is beside the point now. We as a nation voted out, the job of the whole of Parliament is to make sure it happens. Some don’t like it I understand that but it would have been the same had it gone the other way too.
  5. If they were that pro eu they could have moved to one of the other 27 states but they chose to bin it off completely, that shows us something too doesn’t it
  6. None of that is fact just opinion! If they hadn’t turn a trading block into the monster it is today we wouldn’t be having this conversation. I read something yesterday about a couple moving to Canada due to brexit and how bad it is, but as you got halfway down it transpired that the pair of them had always had jobs which were EU funded.
  7. What did you say earlier about idiots and not seeing the truth when presented to them? (Something along those lines anyway!)
  8. Sorry but you are wrong the EU was formed on November the 1st 1993
  9. If you mean the vote from 40 years ago then you need to get a grip. That vote was for a trade deal (a good idea I think most will agree on) problem is it changed to “ever closer union” (read federal state not what was voted for) As for last years vote I don’t seem to remember it being a vote for hard, medium or soft brexit? I fairly sure it was in or out of the EU?
  10. Don’t forget nick clegg who’s just been knighted wanting another referendum (and another no doubt until the answer comes back as he wants it!)

You’re not alone mate! Not had a drink in years and can’t think of anything worse than a New Year’s Eve “party”!
  12. If you have £6k why not buy/lease a new one? You have a lot of monthly payments there and a new machine that won’t break down much and a very good incentive to make it pay for itself too! It’s surprising what having payments to make can do for your motivation!
  13. Do a bit of research into China from Say maos time and Tiananmen and see what the Chinese people have had to put up with from the state and then compare it with some trees being chopped down.
  14. I’m not the the one making ridiculous comparisons!
  15. Are you really comparing Tiananmen Square to chopping a few Street trees down?
  16. When I used to commute about 45 minutes to work quite often I would get there and not remember 90% of the journey (from passing the edge of town usually) that always freaked me out a bit!maybe that was the same
  17. It’s obvious to anyone he wants the tree cutting to stop. No need to look that up, doesn’t stop him being a moron though
  18. That protestor is nothing more or less than a moron. The tree was already on the floor. Stop this happening again elsewhere I kind of see but it’s too late in Sheffield now. I do like trees too. Some comments on here from people who make a living chopping trees down do make me [emoji23]
  19. I agree with you again which is worrying [emoji23][emoji23]
  20. I’ve seen that video. If you hold the throttle down that long when it hits you you deserve what happens.
  21. I don’t see how you can tender if you don’t have the specs. You need to know exactly what they want and when it needs doing by. When you know that you can price for it. Then breakdowns of of everything that will be done and importantly anything that would not be inclusive in the price and need to be agreed separately. Include insurances qualifications etc
  22. Genuinely cheeky?[emoji22]
  23. I agree it’s bonkers money for a mower! You need 5 year contracts with enough grass for 35 hours cutting time per week for 8 months a year to make them pay. Then you’ve got a £2k overhaul bi annually and about £1k on the other years to find I’ve got the smaller 3 gang machine about half the price but will cut around 5 to 5 and a half acres an hour depending how big the area is (less turning more output) But they are able to cut verges and get in tighter areas etc as well where the 5 gang is simply too big. So more scope for work.
  24. No that’s a stand alone machine. Like this http://www.jacobsen.com/ransomes-mp655
  25. These one trick ponies male a lot of money if you can fill the week with one. Your mower attachment is worth is for you as you already have a machine. I couldn’t do the grass cutting I want/ need to do with your multi one machine at all never mind I’m good time. Yes people do have 6,8,10 plus acres of grass, plus huge playing fields/ amenity spaces of 40 acres(the biggest I know of) But cost is the problem £65k now for the 5 gang monsters that cut that amount of grass per hour.
